After going back and forth with their team, they said they'd refund me twelve months as "Account Credit." Before I turned my account off temporarily, their support rep confirmed in writing that I could keep using this balance whenever I wanted to renew. When I went to turn my account back on, the balance showed zero. Their explanation? "We removed the credit because we changed how billing works." This is wrong. When a company updates their backend systems or billing setup, that doesn't mean they get to erase money that's already owed to a customer. This is basically theft of a refund my company was entitled to. When I showed them proof they changed their tune, saying the credit wasn't guaranteed even though they'd promised it was. If you care about protecting your business's money and need a vendor that actually honors what it owes you, don't use this service.
We tested LiveChat and realized pretty fast it wasn't right for us. We ended our plan in 2024 after paying for something we didn't take advantage of. Support said no refunds were available and we understood. We made sure to ask them to shut everything down so there wouldn't be any more charges. Then 2025 hit and we got billed automatically again - actually twice - for two products we never used and never signed up for (LiveChat and KnowledgeBase). The charges hit two separate debit cards on what should have been a dead account. Getting support involved was a pain. They kept asking for pictures, financial info, and reasons for charges that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Eventually they said they don't refund anything no matter what the issue is, including charges after cancellation. Only after we made a huge fuss did they confirm again that yes, the account was supposed to be closed and yes, we wouldn't get billed anymore. Sound familiar? This is what they promised last year.
This is a scam operation. They hit my credit card for over $800 without permission and I never even activated their app. Now they're refusing to give me my money back.
Terrible, frustrating "AI" feature that ruins how you experience the product. The chat interface itself looks nice and works well. When you actually get connected to a real person it functions okay, but first you'll be stuck dealing with their broken AI that just repeats the same questions over and over.
Way Too Expensive With Surprise Charges and Dishonest Tactics - Go Elsewhere! My time with their WordPress chat widget was absolutely terrible. They billed me for features that never worked, and when I asked for a refund they turned me down flat. Their pricing is ridiculous for what you get. Their marketing promises a full-featured chat setup but that's misleading stuff everywhere. To actually get a working system you're looking at paying three times what legitimate competitors ask for identical functionality. Their support team was unhelpful and had zero useful answers. They seem way more interested in extracting every dollar from you than providing a trustworthy and fair service. Go with someone else. There are much better options out there that are honest and reasonably priced.
I'd advise staying away from this service. The platform constantly breaks down and can't deliver reliable service. This company looks like it's heading toward financial collapse. It's severely damaged our business. Their infrastructure is by far the weakest in the market. Don't make the same mistake we did and switch to something else before your operations suffer.
The worst part is you can't cancel on your own. You have to contact their support team to end your subscription. Seriously, skip this product entirely!
