What Shoppers Say About LoveShackFancy
LoveShackFancy has a severely troubled customer service record, with 22 shoppers rating the store 1.4 out of 5. The overwhelming majority of negative reviews cite fulfillment errors (wrong items shipped, missing products, damaged packaging), unresponsive customer service, and broken promises about restocks and follow-up. Customers report long wait times for responses, unfulfilled commitments to send goodwill gestures, and misleading product availability information. A small number of satisfied customers praise the aesthetic appeal and quality of the merchandise itself, though they acknowledge that positive experiences may be underreported relative to complaints.
For a luxury brand positioned around beautiful home and apparel items, the operational failures documented in reviews are particularly damaging. Issues range from basic packaging and shipping competence to communication breakdowns where customers report being given contradictory information or ignored after complaints. Even when the company eventually resolves problems, the process often requires multiple follow-ups from frustrated customers who have already invested significant money in purchases.

Sorted by: Most recentThis was honestly the worst shopping experience I've had. The customer service was terrible and the actual products were way below what I'd expect from the pricing.
This was my first time ordering and I got 4 items. All 4 ended up being too large so I returned everything. The company only credited me back for 3 items though. When I contacted customer service, they said they couldn't locate the fourth item.
Make sure you read their entire return policy, not just the highlighted first part. They're banking on people only skimming the top and thinking they've read it all, then placing orders online. When your size doesn't fit, you can't even exchange it or get your money back if the item is on sale. What's the sale price exactly? Those pants are $500 regular but $400 on sale. That hundred dollar difference might not seem huge, but you're out $400 because their sizing doesn't match standard sizes. And that's the trick. I've read tons of reviews from people in the same situation as me, all surprised by how they treat returns. Don't waste your money because they've got loopholes for everything.
Love Shack Fancy neglected to note on the label that import duties were already covered, so FedEx asked me to pay extra. The company said the refund would show in 3 to 5 business days. I ended up spending nearly an hour at a FedEx center handling this. The floral leggings I got also have a snag in the material near the knee area, and I've only had them for less than a day. The designs are appealing but the quality doesn't justify the price. Not ordering again.
Love Shack Fancy didn't mark on the shipping label that import duties were prepaid, so FedEx hit me up for extra charges. The company said they'd refund it in 3 to 5 days. I had to waste almost an hour going to a FedEx location to sort it out. The floral leggings I ordered also came with a run in the fabric right near the knee, and I'd only had them less than a day. The designs are pretty cute, but the quality doesn't match the price point at all. Won't be ordering again.
I ordered a set of small perfumes as a gift. One of the bottles broke when my friend opened it and she threw it away without taking a picture. I contacted the company and they kept asking me to send a picture of the broken bottle that was already thrown out. I told them the other two are fine but the third one broke so it was discarded. Their response was just to keep asking for a picture. After I'd explain, they'd send back the exact same message a day later. I asked to speak to a supervisor and still nothing. Nobody responds at all. I'll never buy from them again. Everything costs way too much and the customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.
I've placed about a dozen orders over the past several months. Shipping takes way too long and the packaging is pretty cheap. My most recent order from mid-December included a pair of pants, a child's skirt, and I preordered a pink satin skirt. Right away they refunded my money for the pants and canceled it even though it was available. The child's skirt showed up. I was waiting for my satin skirt preorder and honestly forgot about it for a bit. I checked online a few days ago and noticed the skirt was available but not in my size, and realized I'd never received my preorder. I had to email them about it. They told me my size wasn't available anymore since it was a preorder that never got sent. They never emailed me about the cancellation and didn't refund me until I contacted them. I'm done with Love Shack and their overpriced inventory. They take orders, don't fulfill them, and never keep you in the loop.
I've shopped at Love Shack multiple times both in their Nashville location and online, and I've spent a lot of money there. When I shopped in person, there was this associate named Kara who was fantastic. She was super friendly, always knew what I'd love, and would even email me about new arrivals before they hit the shelves so I could order them. After she left, I got some texts from someone at the store saying to reach out if I needed anything, but whenever I text about items, they never reply. The real issue that made me stop shopping was quality. I bought a gorgeous sweater with a cute bow and sequins for around $200. The first time I wore it, I noticed tons of sequins were loose and hanging, ready to fall off. That's not the only quality problem I've had, and when I'm spending roughly $2,000 per visit, I should be getting consistent quality across the board.
The clothing is just ugly and tacky with poor construction. On top of that, customer service is absolutely terrible. They only invite people to their fashion week events if they've purchased followers, which is pretty sketchy.
I placed an order and paid an extra $45 for next day shipping, but it took way longer than that just to process and ship. If they're not actually shipping the same day, why are they offering that service? Customer service online is really not good for the prices they're charging. I only got 2 out of 3 items on the promised date with no explanation about the missing piece. I had to assume it would show up eventually. When I finally got someone on the phone about the third item, they said they'd look into it. Still nothing. My daughter really likes shopping there, which is unfortunate because I'd rather spend my money somewhere that actually cares.
