What Shoppers Say About Lupine Inc
Lupine Inc receives highly polarized feedback, with most shoppers reporting serious frustrations while a small group of long-term customers praise the brand's durability and warranty service. The dominant complaints center on the company's return and replacement policies, particularly a recent shift requiring individual customers to handle returns rather than retailers, as well as instances where the company has denied replacement claims despite marketing a comprehensive guarantee. Specific product design issues have also emerged, including step-in harnesses that either slip off or cause chafing, and collars that may not be fully compatible with electronic fence systems as advertised. The minority of satisfied reviewers highlight exceptional product longevity over years of use, quick replacement processing when claims are approved, and a large selection of designs that justify repeat purchases.
Several reviewers express disappointment that customer service has not been responsive to product feedback or willing to work with customers on refunds, instead limiting resolution to replacements that may not solve the underlying problem. The gap between Lupine's advertised guarantee and the actual claims experience appears to be a critical issue driving negative sentiment, with customers feeling misled by promises that don't materialize in practice.

Sorted by: Most recentI've ordered thousands of Lupine products going back decades as a practice owner, vet, and rancher. Every animal I own wears their stuff: dogs, cats, sheep, goats in collars, harnesses, and leads. I've gifted hundreds of their keychains and made sure all the animals I rescue and rehome get new Lupine gear. I've convinced multiple clinics to stock their line and told all my patients about them for my whole career. I believed in that lifetime warranty promise with all my heart. But it turns out that was just marketing. A new blue heeler came into our household and started slipping out of collars and chewing through equipment. I waited until he got past his chewing phase before returning three collars and a lead. That's when I found out the warranty is basically worthless. It only matters if you never actually need to use it. The company doesn't back up their claims. I feel deceived after all these years of promoting them for free, and after trying to return just a few items from thousands I've purchased, they've shut me down completely.
Don't trust their guarantees. I bought a harness and it was poorly made and annoying to fasten onto my dog. Thinking their money-back promise was legit, I sent it back for a full refund. They're refusing to pay me back, claiming the harness was damaged and soiled. I never once took my dog outside wearing it because she was too uncomfortable and anxious in it. They're insisting it was used anyway. Their promises about refunds mean nothing. They're misleading and honestly a company I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Same experience every time. I keep sending messages asking when they're bringing back the Peace Sign design for their pet gear. I've never gotten a single response. That pattern is super popular and I just want to know if they're making it again or what their timeline is. It's a straightforward question and I can't get any answer.
Really impressed with Lupine Pet. They truly stand behind what they sell and make quality products that are built to last. Everything is designed thoughtfully and manufactured right here in the USA. Their support team is responsive and helpful whenever you need them. Plus, your orders arrive faster than you'd expect.
