What Shoppers Say About mcobeauty.com
MCoBeauty.com receives sharply polarized feedback, with shoppers either highly enthusiastic or deeply dissatisfied. Positive reviewers consistently praise the quality of makeup products, particularly the lip gloss and liquid blush formulations, noting that the brand delivers premium-feeling cosmetics at budget-friendly prices. Supporters highlight the brand's commitment to quality and value, with some comparing products favorably to higher-end retailers. However, negative reviews raise serious concerns about product performance, shade range limitations, and transparency issues. Detractors report that certain products underperform compared to established budget competitors, struggle with shade inclusivity and undertone matching for various skin tones, and point to inadequate communication regarding a sunscreen recall that customers had to discover through website digging rather than clear disclosure.
The stark divide between five-star and one-star ratings suggests highly inconsistent product quality or significant mismatches between product descriptions and actual performance. Common complaints center on foundation and base product shade availability, ingredient concerns for acne-prone skin, and awkward product packaging. The lack of middle-ground ratings indicates that shoppers tend to have either satisfying experiences or disappointing ones, with little neutral middle ground.

Sorted by: Most recentTheir lip gloss and other makeup genuinely stand out compared to everything else I've tried, even stuff from Sephora. The quality is really impressive. Hands down some of the best products I've used.
The UK branch and staff genuinely seem to care about what they're doing. Their popup event was fantastic, and the quality of their makeup is really solid at these prices. You get that premium feel without paying premium prices. I'm rooting for this company to keep growing and I'd absolutely tell others to give them a shot.
Really troubled by the lack of honesty here. MCoBeauty recalled their SPF50+ Mineral Mattifying Sunscreen when regulators found the SPF levels were wrong, yet they're not telling people on their social channels. You basically have to dig through their website and find what they vaguely call a "Sunscreen Update" to even realize you should stop using it. When SPF ratings are incorrect, you risk serious sun damage and potentially skin cancer. MCoBeauty needs to step up and be transparent about this. This recall and refund info should be front and center, pinned everywhere, with a public apology for trying to hide something this serious. This is a health and safety issue, period.
Picked up the liquid blush in dusty rose and it's just not good. The bottle design is awkward and what's inside isn't any better. Tossed it straight away. Total waste of money. This brand doesn't measure up to budget competitors like Elf or Essence.
I was really pumped to try this brand, especially seeing new foundation options at drugstore prices. Problem is, of all their base products, only the BB cream won't trigger acne issues based on ingredient databases, and it only comes in three shades. The lightest shade has a heavy pink undertone that leans salmon. Since I have fair olive skin, it just won't work for me - it'd look awful. They really need to expand their shade range. This would be such an easy fix.
Added stuff to my cart and when I tried to finish buying it, everything showed as out of stock. Apparently items in your cart don't actually get reserved for you. Lesson learned.
My order took three weeks to arrive and when it did, the lip mask and balm were expired and had a weird grainy texture. I've emailed them four times asking for a replacement or refund with zero response. Their customer service is honestly terrible.
Really sad about this - the formulas have silicones in them, which is basically microplastics. Not great for your skin and definitely not good for our planet.
My package ended up at the wrong address - the label didn't have my address info on it - and when I asked them to help, they basically said no. Not getting my money back, not making an exception. I'm disputing the charge with my card company. Won't be shopping here again. It's frustrating because I see these products promoted everywhere by influencers who got them free, but regular people like me just get stuck dealing with awful policies. Companies don't seem to understand that they need customers to survive. We're already struggling financially. Think twice before spending your money with places like this.
