Next day, customer service said the misalignment was "acceptable for a handmade frame" and refused to exchange anything. Completely dishonest approach to handling the issue.
Really unhappy with how I was treated. When I ordered the bed, I was told I could return or exchange it within 30 days. That didn't happen. Instead, I ended up paying extra to exchange it plus another shipping fee, and that delivery never even showed. I can't get any real updates on where things stand. Every time I call, it's a different person who knows nothing about my order. Nobody takes responsibility, nobody follows through, nobody fixes anything. Would absolutely not recommend. I've paid for delivery twice now and I'm stuck with a bed I don't want. Super frustrating experience all around.
Watch out for their pricing tricks! I was looking at one of their bed frames at $1899. They sent me a promotion code and I used it in my cart to get a discount. While I was reviewing financing options they bumped the frame price up to $2199. That's completely misleading marketing.
Found this company online and planned to eventually get furniture from them. Even though I couldn't see items in person or test materials before ordering, I went ahead with my order and don't regret it one bit. I did something unconventional and bought almost everything from one place - the Carlisle Sectional, James Chair, Finsburry Coffee table, Wembley dining table, 2 Harper dining chairs, 3 Mercer Bar Stools and 2 Nassau side tables. Andrea was incredible helping me pick the right pieces for my space. Everything about this experience was positive. I absolutely love every single item! My decor leans contemporary industrial and Modloft nailed that aesthetic way better than anywhere else I looked. Quality, design, and pricing are seriously impressive. The furniture looks exactly like the pictures online. What really impressed me most was their flexibility when I needed to hold my order, adjust things, and make changes. They adapted smoothly to everything I requested.

Like their designs but the customer service is lacking. Got a sectional, two nightstands, and a dresser. The sectional has arrived but I'm still waiting on the nightstands and dresser. When items show as in stock, once you order them customer service emails saying they're actually backordered. I waited a month for the sectional delivery, and now another month has gone by with no updates or timeline for the other pieces. The lack of clear communication is really frustrating and unprofessional. The sales rep I spoke with was rude and didn't seem to care about my problems. I don't think I'll order from Modloft again based on this whole experience.
Really happy with my purchase overall. Living in Connecticut meant about 3 weeks for delivery. Modern furniture is hard to find up here since most places are all farmhouse style. My sister has a Modloft sideboard that I've always loved, so I went with their dining table and chairs. They're absolutely gorgeous and I'd love to show them off in photos.
