NuFACE Reviews
What Shoppers Say About NuFACE
NuFace devices receive overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting widespread reliability issues and poor customer service. A significant majority of reviewers complain about devices failing within one to three years of normal use, unresponsive support teams, ignored return requests, lack of return labels, and a company unwilling to honor warranty claims or provide replacements. Many shoppers feel abandoned after making substantial purchases, with some devices failing after just over a year when warranty coverage ends.
A small subset of users report positive experiences with device performance, noting visible improvements in skin firmness, texture, and clarity after regular use, along with satisfaction with the mobile app functionality. However, these positive accounts are heavily outweighed by complaints about product durability and customer service failures, leading most reviewers to recommend avoiding the brand entirely.

Sorted by: Most recentWorst customer service I've experienced! I ordered the Fix from their website even though I already had the Trinity. I wanted to bring it on my weekend getaway, so I paid extra for fast shipping which came to nearly 50 dollars. The package got to me quickly as promised, but the device inside was completely broken. A company of this size should have people checking quality before items ship out. Someone testing it would have noticed it wasn't working. I sent photos and a video showing the problem. They're refusing to refund my shipping cost, and I still don't have a working device even though I already paid for express delivery. To make matters worse, they're sending me a return envelope for the broken device. Really disappointed with how they've handled this situation.
Would give zero stars if I could! This product caused serious health issues and that's scary. I almost went to the hospital because of the migraine it triggered. I'd been using the mini for two weeks, five days each week, and starting the third week the worst migraine pain hit. It was so intense and scary, I genuinely thought something was wrong with my brain and almost called for an ambulance. It's concerning that something with FDA approval can cause this kind of severe pain. Don't use this without understanding the risks. The migraine pain I experienced was unlike anything before, and honestly if more people knew what could happen they wouldn't touch this device.
Seems like I got lucky with mine since it's lasted two years now. It's still working but getting harder to power on. I've been pretty regular with it, probably four times a week at about 30 minutes per session. I'm 65 and can see some improvement in my skin. It's not huge but it is there. I'm now wondering if spending extra for the Trinity plus model makes sense.
I guess I've been fortunate because my NuFace has held up for two years. Though I will say it's starting to have trouble turning on now. I've been pretty consistent with it, using it about four times a week for sometimes up to 30 minutes. I'm 65 and I have noticed a difference, though I'll be honest it's not dramatic. Now I'm thinking about whether the Trinity plus would be worth upgrading to.
I'm giving three stars because the customer service team was actually helpful, but I can't say the same thing about the actual device. My first unit quit after just one month with that same issue where it turns on then dies even after recharging. The second one made it about three months, which was just long enough for me to see some positive changes in my skin tone before it stopped working too. The third lasted barely a week before the same thing happened. At that point I asked for a refund instead of another replacement. I switched to a different brand, a ZIIP model that cost even more but has better features and hopefully won't fail on me.
Mine stopped working after only six months of use. The quality is pretty poor and the customer service wasn't helpful at all. Wouldn't suggest this to anyone.
Awful product and company. Be careful before buying. I purchased the mini and the company had to replace it twice because it wouldn't even turn on. When I asked for my money back, they refused because they have a no refund policy. They don't actually stand behind their products. What a waste of money. I'm really upset about this.
Very disappointed with NuFace's support. They don't stand behind anything they make. I bought their top of the line device and it had problems right from the first use. This was shocking because I had a great experience with them seven years ago when I bought my first one. The products just aren't made as well anymore. Unfortunately this is true of almost every brand I buy lately whether it's expensive makeup bottles that break, department store items made of thin cheap material, outdoor gear with the same issue, you name it. We're all paying more money for worse quality. They even made me pay for return shipping. It took numerous calls and emails just to get my RMA code, and it's only valid for ten days. After that you have to ask again. If a company is selling you something, they should stand behind it and make returns easy.
I've owned two mini units so far. The first one broke after a year, and honestly I remember it being really painful to use right before it died, like getting shocked. I looked it up and found out this is apparently common with NuFace products dying after a year. I figured if I get a year out of it, that's still cheaper than buying fancy creams, so I ordered another one. This second one only lasted less than three months though. It shuts off the instant I put it on my face. I got my money back from the retailer which helped, but going through the return and reordering hassle was annoying. I just ordered their newer mini version anyway because the skincare results really do work for me despite the battery issues. I use it every single morning and my skin feels lifted and fresher. I just keep hoping they'll finally fix that battery problem because it would be perfect otherwise.
I did use the nuface for a whole year and it actually did help my skin. That said, I had some areas on my face become a little bumpy. The real issue though is the device itself just isn't reliable. It keeps stopping working. The battery completely died and the company won't help. Since I got it through a marketplace and the warranty expired, I'm stuck with no options on fixing the battery situation.
