What Shoppers Say About Overstocksheetclub
Overstocksheetclub has received overwhelmingly negative feedback, rated 1.7 out of 5 by 10 shoppers. The primary complaint centers on product misrepresentation: customers ordered sheets advertised as premium 1800 thread count Egyptian cotton but received thin microfiber instead. Additional issues include poor durability (seams splitting after one wash), difficulty reaching customer service, and aggressive return policies featuring high restocking fees (35% reported) and expensive return shipping charges (up to $31). Several shoppers describe the company's practices as deceptive or scamming, and customers report the company refusing refunds or publishing negative reviews.
The few positive aspects mentioned are limited: one reviewer noted quick delivery, accurate colors, and initial softness. However, these minor positives are overwhelmingly outweighed by complaints about thin, see-through material, poor construction quality, and unresponsive customer service. Shoppers consistently advise against purchasing from this retailer and warn that the company appears designed to profit from restocking and return fees rather than product quality.

Sorted by: Most recentThis is a straight-up scam operation. Ordered what I thought were 100% cotton sheets and got microfiber garbage instead. I barely opened the package, just pulled the sheets out and put them back without even unfolding them. They refused a refund claiming the package was opened. Completely outrageous and dishonest. Don't waste your money here.
Total scammers. They advertised 1800 thread count but shipped microfiber. When I complained about the bad quality, they told me to return it at my expense for almost $31 in shipping. On top of that they hit me with a 35% restocking fee. Their whole business model appears to be shipping junk products and charging people massive fees when they want to send it back. Absolutely stay away.
Really disappointed with these sheets. I bought what was supposed to be 1800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets but got paper-thin microfiber instead. The only good things are they arrived quickly, the color was accurate, and they feel soft initially. However, they're clearly low quality - I can literally see through them. The seams are huge and loose. The website won't allow returns on discounted items. I'd strongly advise staying away from this company. Also worth noting they have no connection to overstock.com despite the similar name.
Ordered king size sheets marketed as premium 1800 thread count. When I got them, the material was disappointingly thin and cheap quality. Tried calling customer service and couldn't reach an actual person. Got an automated email response about returns that essentially says if you open the package to check the sheets, you get less money back plus you pay shipping both directions. Even when I tried using them anyway, they were massively oversized. Potential buyers should be very careful with this company.
Got 3 sets of the 1800 thread count sheets in different colors. Used the orange set once and after the first wash the pillowcase seams ripped. Tried the blue set next and same problem - seam split after one wash on the decorative trim part. Posted a review about this on their website but they never published it. They did email me asking for pictures, which proves they saw my complaint. Their posted reviews can't be trusted because they filter out the negative ones.
These sheets are absolutely terrible. I should have done more research beforehand. They don't keep you cool at all, they're way too thin, and they're not soft despite the description. I made the mistake of ordering three sets and now I'm stuck with all of them.
Don't buy from this place. The sheets are paper-thin. After the very first wash, there were color fade spots that look like stains. Their return process is a hassle and costs you money. They won't even accept returns on opened packages with defects. Skip this company entirely.
I grabbed a split-top CAL King set and loved the price compared to the name brand alternative. Shipping was fast too. What I liked: the no-wrinkle fabric is fantastic especially on the wide hemmed top sheet, extra width on top for nice draping, and the trim on the pillowcases looks elegant. What didn't work: the sheets actually don't fit right on my bed. The split section is cut too long and bunches up at the bottom. The fabric pieces that wrap around the split don't have elastic sewn on the inner edges so they come untucked throughout the night. You can't return opened sheets so you have no way to test fit them on your specific bed before committing.
These sheets feel amazing! So incredibly soft, the best I've ever owned. The company treated me great and their customer service team was fantastic to work with.
