What Shoppers Say About Points
Points.com has received uniformly negative feedback from shoppers, with all reviews rating the service at one star. The most common complaints center on payment and transaction problems, including stalled payments, failed purchase attempts with unclear reasons, and extended 72-hour wait times for added points to appear in accounts. Shoppers also report missing receipts and invoices for purchases, inadequate customer support responses, website accessibility issues, and confusion about duplicate charges when transactions fail. One reviewer mentioned needing third-party intervention to resolve payment delays.
The platform's core function of allowing users to buy and manage airline and travel points appears compromised by technical failures and poor customer service. Issues include website loading problems, payment processing errors that occur repeatedly without clear explanation, and a lack of transparent transaction documentation. Shoppers express particular frustration that the service partners with major airlines yet fails to provide reliable functionality or responsive support during purchase attempts, which create time-sensitive travel booking situations.

Sorted by: Most recentThis platform kept making excuses and stalling on payments. Fortunately, I got help from a third party that stepped in and sorted everything out smoothly.
I wanted to book a flight with my points but needed to buy more. I clicked the button to add points and nothing happened. Turns out I'd have to sit around for 72 hours waiting for them to show up. That's terrible because by then the price might jump or the flight could get sold out. I'm not using this service again.
Absolutely terrible experience! You need serious dedication to mess things up this badly. Congratulations! Buy miles and you won't even get a receipt. Every business should provide invoices or receipts, but not these guys. The email confirmation doesn't even show the amount. Their support page is a joke where they dodge your questions with nonsense instead of letting you actually talk to someone. It's despicable.
Attempted to purchase Alaska Airlines points and it was a nightmare. The transaction kept failing for no clear reason, and each time it happens you're stuck waiting 3 days to find out whether it actually went through. Customer service is basically nowhere to be found.
It's frustrating that this company shows all these major corporations as partners yet consistently has server problems. When people try to buy points for flights, they get charged but get a fake error message about credit card info, so they keep trying different cards. The real issue is each attempt gets charged to your account. Southwest and other airlines don't help either - they just tell you to wait for pending charges to disappear. We're sitting with over two grand in pending charges across multiple cards and still haven't gotten our flight. There's no customer service number, no resolution team, nothing. This situation deserves way more public attention.
I can't even get the website to load properly. Every time I try to access it, Cloudflare blocks me with a message saying I don't have access to the site.
Worst company ever. They charge your card, claim there's an error, give you nothing, and maybe return your money in a week or maybe not. Either way you're stuck dealing with a huge hassle trying to get your own cash back.
Major scam here. I bought miles through a promotion using my credit card and got charged, but the miles never appeared in my account. In this day and age, it's crazy that a company running an online points service doesn't automatically post miles after purchase. It should happen instantly. I didn't get what I paid for, and when I tried to get help, there was no support number anywhere. I called the airline instead and they said the company handles it. This whole thing is a letdown and I'm surprised the airline still works with them.
These people are scammers. I tried buying points with my credit card. The website said there was a problem with my card, yet I got charged anyway. The points never showed up in my account. What makes it worse is there's literally no way to contact support on their website. This happened to me twice with two different cards.
Stay away from this fraudulent operation. They're unreliable and won't process refunds. I've been waiting four months with nothing. All I get are excuses and no action. They ignore consumer protection laws that clearly require them to refund money when requested or when services are cancelled. I'm filing complaints with regulatory agencies. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything through them unless you want the stress and risk of losing your money.
