What Shoppers Say About poupettestbarth.com
Poupette St Barth positions itself as a luxury retailer, but shoppers report that their direct website experience falls significantly short of that promise. The primary complaints center on return policies and customer service: all three reviews highlight burdensome return processes where customers must cover full return shipping costs including international tariffs, complex authorization procedures requiring customers to print order emails and write codes on multiple package labels, and slow or unresponsive support staff that take over a week to answer inquiries. One reviewer noted their package arrived much later than promised and required approximately 10 emails to resolve return issues.
While one reviewer mentioned enjoying Poupette St Barth's actual clothing pieces in the past, that positive sentiment does not extend to the website purchasing experience. The consensus is clear: despite the brand's luxury positioning, the combination of difficult return logistics, customer service delays, and unclear or misleading return information creates friction that shoppers feel is unacceptable for the price point.

Sorted by: Most recentI've loved Poupette St Barth's pieces for years, but buying straight from their website recently was a total letdown. They brand themselves as luxury, yet their customer service falls way short of that. My package took way longer to arrive than they said it would, and when I tried to return it, they pushed back hard. I had to send around 10 emails and deal with a really frustrating conversation before they finally gave me my money back. On top of that, even though the late shipping was their fault, I had to pay for return postage myself. When you're charging luxury prices, customers deserve real support and responsibility. Yeah, they eventually refunded me, but the whole thing was draining and felt unprofessional. My suggestion: if you like their designs, grab them from somewhere like Saks or Bloomingdale's instead. Only order directly from their site if you're totally sure you won't need to return anything or get help. I'm definitely not buying from them directly again.
Skip this retailer. Ordering here means you'll cover every return cost, from shipping fees to international tariffs and everything else. Their support team is pretty unhelpful, and I waited over a week just to get someone to answer about sending something back. I had to reach out several times before getting any response. Look, I don't mind spending money on their clothing, but when items cost this much, return shipping should be included. Unless you're okay paying more to ship something back than what you originally paid for it, stay away from shopping here.
Their site says returns are simple. That's completely misleading. Want to send something back? You've got a bunch of steps to follow: find and print your original order email, request an authorization code, write it clearly on both the package and a separate piece of paper inside, repackage everything yourself, address it, and cover the tracked shipping cost. The return shipping has to be tracked too. I spent over £30 to send back a dress that cost £150 because it just didn't fit right, so I couldn't wear it. I kept my other item. But nowhere on the site does it say returns go to the US. I definitely would've thought twice about ordering if I'd known that upfront. I checked their return info before buying, except you can't actually look at it unless you already have an order number. I figured the returns address would be somewhere in the UK or maybe Europe. It's really deceptive, and the lack of clear information is disappointing. I bought from them once before and kept what I ordered, so I didn't think twice about trying again. Now that I know what their return process is actually like, I won't be ordering from them anymore.
