I'm really happy with my Pure Mistaire Silver Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier. Actually just bought my second one for another room. Both are super simple to fill and operate quietly while really doing the job of adding moisture to the air. Plan on refilling once a day. You get options for how fast the mist comes out. When the water level drops, you'll see the light turn from blue to red. The unit powers down on its own once all the water is gone. The rotating nozzle is a nice touch too, lets you aim where the mist goes.

My Pure Mistaire Silver Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is fantastic. This is actually my second one because I liked the first one so much. Both fill up easily and run super quietly while doing a really good job moisturizing the air. Just heads up that you'll need to refill daily depending on usage. You can adjust the mist output to different levels. The bottom light switches from blue to red when water is getting low, and the machine shuts itself off when it runs dry. One feature I really appreciate is that the nozzle can rotate to aim the mist wherever you need it.
