Every single time I got passed along to someone else. Nobody would take accountability or actually help me solve anything. Never shopping with this brand or their other brands again.
Don't place an online order with this company. My experience was the worst. I've been waiting since November 22nd and kept getting the same generic responses from customer service. I asked for my money back and they refused. The service is absolutely hopeless.
Skip the online ordering. The physical stores are okay, but online is a nightmare. I placed an order on September 27th. By October 7th, only one item showed up while seven others didn't arrive. When I complained, they told me it shipped on October 8th. Wait, I ordered on the 27th and you shipped on the 8th? Then they say it'll take anywhere from 2 to 14 days to get here. Complete waste of time.
Don't bother buying anything here. I purchased a cordless vacuum and it stopped working after the second use. I sent emails to Rivers with video proof of the problem twice. Three weeks later and they still won't help me arrange a return or issue a refund. Their support team acts like they're powerless, constantly saying they're waiting for the supplier to respond. They even told me to contact the supplier myself. That's not how it should work. I bought this from Rivers as the seller, so Rivers needs to handle the return and send my refund once they get the item back. Why should I wait around? This process seems like it violates consumer protection laws.
Low quality shoes. Bought a pair about two years ago and barely wore them, saving them for special occasions. Probably worn maybe six times total. Last time I put them on, the heel collapsed and cracked. The synthetic sole just fell apart. Took them to the store today asking for a replacement or refund. The manager told me there's only a six month warranty on shoes regardless of wear, and that synthetic soles don't last long if you don't wear them often. That's ridiculous for shoes that are practically brand new. I asked if that info was posted anywhere in the store. The manager called security and had me escorted out. I'm 86 and fifty dollars means something to me. I've spent a lot on their clothing over the years, but now I'm telling other seniors to stay away from their shoes. Their denim used to be great quality.
