What Shoppers Say About Rocket Languages
Shoppers give Rocket Languages polarized reviews, with the majority praising the platform's comprehensive course material, strong value for money, and effective teaching methods. Several reviewers highlight successful learning outcomes and appreciate the straightforward lesson structure. The company's refund policy is also noted positively by those who have used it. However, some users report significant frustration with customer service accessibility, citing difficulty reaching support staff via phone and unresponsive communication channels. A few reviewers also mention content-specific concerns, such as incomplete grammar explanations, missing article designations for nouns, and questions about age-appropriateness of dialogue content.
The stark divide in ratings reflects two distinct customer experiences: those satisfied with the educational product itself and those encountering barriers when needing support or assistance. While the course quality resonates with committed learners, the accessibility of customer service represents a notable weakness that affects overall satisfaction for some users.

Sorted by: Most recentSeems like there's nobody actually running this place. Getting any kind of response is nearly impossible. I tried calling two different numbers they have listed and neither one works. Been trying to reach someone for a couple days about fixing one basic issue, but all I get back are robotic automated messages that don't help at all.
This is hands down the finest language learning platform available online. The material is thorough and detailed, and you get fantastic value for what you pay. If you're serious about actually mastering a language, I can't recommend Rocket Languages highly enough.
I got the complete German program. My main complaint is that the grammar explanations could have been more detailed, especially around sentence construction. Also, a ton of German nouns are listed without their articles - it would've been way better if they included der, die, das alongside each one, especially since the course actually tells you to write them down in a notebook. That said, I'm giving it four stars because of their sixty day money back guarantee. I asked for my refund and got confirmation the very next day (took a bit longer to show up on my card, but that's the bank's thing, not theirs). You can truly test drive this without any real risk. Major props to their support team.
I picked up two courses from Rocket Languages. When I realized the material was actually too easy for my current level, they processed a refund according to their policy without any hassle or questions. Their team was professional and helpful throughout the whole process. With customer service that good, you really can't beat them.
I grabbed Level 1 Spanish during a holiday sale to help with an upcoming trip to South America. I wasn't super consistent with it and only got through a couple units before I left, but being able to negotiate with local taxi drivers and street merchants on my own made the investment worthwhile. The lessons are straightforward and the teaching method really sticks with you. I'd definitely suggest trying Rocket.
Rocket Languages puts out a Spanish program that really misses the mark in several ways. For starters, it's definitely not appropriate for kids - the dialogues include a lot of mature content that children shouldn't be exposed to. On top of that, the material is way too convoluted for what it's trying to teach. Being a native Spanish speaker myself, I can tell you this course is basically a masterclass in what not to do. It might help someone just starting out, but it doesn't actually teach you the language properly. Real learning happens when you get a qualified instructor to fix all the mistakes and fill in the gaps this course leaves.
