What Shoppers Say About Rodan + Fields
Rodan + Fields receives sharply divided reviews, with shoppers either strongly praising the product quality or expressing serious dissatisfaction with customer service and business practices. Positive reviewers highlight that the skincare products are effective and long-lasting, with one customer reporting a single order lasting a full year. However, the majority of reviews cite significant frustrations: account deactivations without warning, refusal to honor promotional offers, unresponsive or dismissive customer support, lack of support for brand consultants, and concerns about a class action settlement related to the Lash Boost product causing lash damage. Several long-term customers report feeling undervalued after years of loyalty.
The company's handling of customer issues appears to be a major pain point, with reviewers describing unhelpful responses when attempting to resolve problems and inflexible policies that prioritize expiration dates over customer relationships. Those satisfied with products tend to avoid the subscription model due to its frequency, while dissatisfied customers cite both product-related issues and the company's MLM structure as reasons for their low ratings.

Sorted by: Most recentWould give zero stars if I could. After being a customer for 5 years, they refused to honor a promotional offer that came with my subscription just because the deal expired before my shipment went out. When I mentioned potentially taking my business elsewhere, their response was basically 'okay, bye.' On top of that, I got disconnected from a support representative and never got a callback. I'm finished with them and moving on to other options.
Been a consultant and regular buyer since 2010 and suddenly my account was just deactivated with no warning. Got an email saying it was for missing a renewal window, so I asked about reactivating. Instead of helping me, they called asking why I hadn't renewed. I explained I missed the deadline and wasn't checking that email, then asked what I could do to fix it. The representative basically said the window was closed and offered nothing else. After 15 years of loyalty and support, getting shut out over a missed date with zero solutions feels like they see me as disposable. Plus I'm disappointed by their shift away from their consultant model toward an affiliate setup announced last year, which removed downline earnings opportunities.
Complete waste of time. Became a Brand Consultant thinking I'd get proper backing, but they provided zero support. Just hoops to jump through with nothing on their end.
As long as this brand keeps its current celebrity representative, I'm not buying. They should seriously reconsider who's representing their company.
Not usually into MLM companies but I genuinely love these products. A single order lasts me an entire year. I don't even do their subscription since they want you ordering every other month. These really are fantastic and I look forward to using them!
There was a class action settlement over their Lash Boost product that damaged my lashes, and they still haven't recovered two years later. The settlement is worthless because the voucher only works toward buying more of their stuff, which is insulting. Why would I ever buy from them again after their product hurt me? The fact that people still use a company that's been sued for serious product issues is shocking. I found way better alternatives elsewhere for less money. I'm basically forfeiting the $250 reimbursement since there's no way I'm ever purchasing from them again.
The actual products work fine, though honestly they're not really better than competitors. I've used them for years but eventually looked at their shipping fees. Charging over 11 bucks to ship a 4.2 ounce face scrub is ridiculous. Running my own business, I know shipping a package this small costs way less using standard priority options.
Wish they'd stop showing up in every skincare conversation online pretending to be regular community members. It's obviously an MLM sales tactic and nobody buys it. The fake friendliness followed by asking people to message them privately is transparent and annoying. We all know what's really going on here.
Hands down the best skincare line I've ever tried. Had deep creases across my forehead before starting and they literally disappeared. Also dealt with age spots from my pregnancies that wouldn't budge, but those are gone now too. Definitely recommending this to everyone I know!
