Routledge actually delivered exactly what they promised, and I think the negative reviews aren't totally fair. I ordered a book late one Wednesday night, worried it would ship from the UK with customs costs to reach Europe. But because it was a print-on-demand book, they printed it in the Netherlands instead and sent it straight to me without crossing any borders. It arrived with regular mail on Tuesday. They did exactly what they said they would, and honestly they get way too much criticism.

Routledge doesn't have proper customer support set up for quick responses. I bought a textbook and course materials but couldn't get into my account when I tried to log in. There's no phone line to call for help, everything has to go through email. I sent a message Friday and then sent another one, and they wanted me to upload a screenshot. More than a week later and my account is still locked. I need to prepare for my final exam and this is incredibly frustrating.

This company's service was absolutely awful. I bought a book on November 25th with expedited shipping for 3 to 5 days and paid extra. On December 1st I emailed and called saying I hadn't gotten shipping confirmation and wanted to cancel. The delivery was taking too long so I had to grab the digital version for my coursework instead. After going back and forth they claimed the book already shipped so I couldn't cancel. I asked to cancel on December 1st, but they didn't actually ship it until December 6th, which I can prove with the FedEx tracking. It arrived on December 8th, which was two weeks later, and they said no returns allowed. They refused to accept the unopened book in its original packaging based on policy. Now I'm stuck with two copies when I only needed one. Professors and schools thinking about using this publisher should stay away completely. Students needing this book should find it elsewhere if possible. Do not order from here.
