What Shoppers Say About Scentair.com
Scentair.com receives highly polarized reviews, with shoppers either praising exceptional customer service and technical support or expressing serious dissatisfaction with product quality and company responsiveness. Positive reviewers consistently highlight individual staff members, particularly technicians and customer service representatives, who go above and beyond expectations. However, the majority of negative reviews cite poor value for money, with complaints about undersized products (candles and fragrance sticks) that provide minimal scent despite premium pricing, devices that fail shortly after the one-year warranty period, and persistent difficulty reaching customer support through limited contact channels.
A major recurring complaint involves contractual issues and inaccessible customer service, with shoppers reporting they cannot reach representatives by phone and receive minimal email responses. The stark contrast between experiences suggests that individual staff members may provide excellent service, but systemic issues with product durability, pricing, and overall company accessibility are creating widespread frustration. The polarized rating distribution indicates potential disconnects between what the company promises and what customers actually receive.

Sorted by: Most recentI've tried everything out there for keeping the house smelling fresh - plug-in air fresheners, various spray brands, you name it. None of them were doing the trick. So I decided to splurge and spent over $300 on one of their diffusers and a couple of refill cartridges. Don't do it. This product isn't worth the money. I'm not getting that fresh forest smell or ocean breeze feeling they promise. I'm going to ask for all my money back.
This place was great ten years ago, but things have gone downhill since then. If you're not a huge corporate customer, they really don't care about your business. We got good service for the first four years, which is about how long their equipment lasts. After that we had to call multiple times just to get one replacement, and eventually our account rep stopped showing up and answering calls. Once the equipment started failing, we got nothing - no service, no support, just cartridges and invoices. By 2022 basically all of our machines had died and they weren't responding. We stopped paying in 2023 and now they're threatening to sue over around $100 when we were paying roughly $250 or more monthly for a decade. We also had problems getting replacement cartridges delivered when they switched from monthly shipments to every three months. That saves them money but it's terrible for customers because you never know when you'll get them. They don't send tracking information or anything. When you call, they just say it shipped already but that's not helpful. Their website claims award-winning customer service, but where are these awards from? They don't say who gave them the awards or show any proof. If you're a small business, stay away from this company. Everything looks perfect until you're locked into a contract, then the treatment changes completely.
Stay away from this company. Try asking to cancel and they'll just keep shipping things to you and charging your card. You could send emails and make calls until you're blue in the face, but they're always supposedly in meetings and will get back to you eventually. They're the worst.
I bought two home diffusers and both of them stopped working in under a month. This company tries to blame customers, saying we didn't program them right or our WiFi isn't good enough. But these devices were working initially, so we clearly programmed them correctly. I've spent well over $500 between samples, units, and cartridges, and all I have to show for it are two devices that just light up but don't work. You'd think a USA-based company would want happy customers. That was my mistake for expecting that. I've texted all my friends who were about to buy these to tell them not to bother, and I've told them my story. I might as well have bought something cheap from overseas. At least then I wouldn't have expected it to keep working after a month.
