What Shoppers Say About Disney Store
Disney Store is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 23 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Shoppers report critical issues with customer service, including condescending staff, unresponsive support that fails to address concerns, and difficulty obtaining promised refunds or replacements. Frequent complaints also center on shipping problems (lost or severely delayed packages with poor tracking), product quality that falls short of expectations (wrinkled costumes, cheap materials), and problematic return processes that leave customers without resolution.
The few positive reviews are exceptions in an overwhelmingly negative rating distribution. Common frustrations suggest systemic operational failures: missing orders that never arrive, inventory mismanagement that prevents customers from receiving replacements, lack of communication about shipping delays, and customer service representatives who make promises they do not keep. Shoppers describe feeling frustrated and dismissed, with several stating they will not purchase from Disney Store again.

Sorted by: Most recentShopDisney doesn't have the same attention to quality that Disney Parks are known for. I bought six mystery box sets of villain pins to make a makeshift Advent Calendar for my wife. I understood there might be some duplicates since they're random. Mathematically, getting 10 different pins out of 12 random ones is statistically unlikely. But Disney clearly made zero effort to randomize anything. All six boxes had the exact same two pins. That's just lazy.
I ordered several items in October and two of them showed up damaged. After a week someone from their support team got back to me and asked me to return the damaged items and wait for replacements. So that's what I did. They made me wait almost three weeks for them to send replacements and then when they finally arrived, it was the exact same box with the same smashed items I had sent back. At this point I've contacted customer service three times through email since calling is basically impossible, and I haven't heard from them. I returned everything again hoping to get a refund, and my kid is really disappointed because he didn't get what he wanted for his birthday.
Every time I check the Shop Disney website I'm hoping to discover something magical like I experience at the parks, but instead I just see the same merchandise over and over again. They just slap a different movie character on the same play set or t-shirt. They have made some positive changes to the website with better search features and filtering that genuinely help you locate items. What bothers me is the costs keep going up while the product designs stay incredibly repetitive.
I visit the Shop Disney site pretty regularly hoping to find something special like I feel when I'm at the theme parks, but honestly it's always the same stuff. They swap out the movie character but recycle the same toys and shirts over and over. I will say the website is better now with improved sorting and filtering options that make it easier to find what you want. The problem is prices keep climbing and the actual designs have gotten really repetitive.
Absolutely terrible customer service and company. I've been waiting 17 days and my order still hasn't even been shipped. I haven't heard anything from you, no updates or apologies. This is totally unacceptable and shows really poor customer service. You deserve to lose your customers and frankly I hope the company goes under.
It's hard to understand why such a big name company has such terrible customer service. I ordered two items that showed as in stock on November 8th. The site said delivery would be 3 to 5 business days but then changed it to November 18th. By November 22nd the order still hadn't even shipped. I emailed them on the 17th and got no response. I tried the live chat on the 21st and it took three attempts over two hours just to get connected without getting cut off, only to be told I just needed to wait longer. Awful service.
I made a purchase on the Disney store website and waited quite a while for it to arrive. When I opened the box, the Mickey Mouse festive wreath was damaged. I contacted Disney and they told me I needed to send back the damaged item and then wait 15 days to get a replacement sent to me. That's ridiculous. They sent me something broken and I have to wait two weeks for them to send me another one? I already shipped it back and I'm very disappointed. This isn't how you treat customers. The least they could do was immediately send out a replacement while they waited to get the damaged one back. I'm really let down because this doesn't show they respect their customers. What am I supposed to do with a crumpled garland in the meantime? It's going in the trash. Making me wait 15 days for a replacement is basically a joke.
Absolute garbage. It took over four weeks to get my stuff and I had orders spread out over multiple weeks that each shipped separately. Their customer service is completely useless and I honestly have no idea why they even have a team. They can't cancel orders, they can't delay orders, they can't provide any information whatsoever. You'd get better help talking to a brick wall. My last two packages show as delivered but I never actually received them. The communication is super sketchy about when things shipped or got delivered or anything else. In my opinion, if you can't meet your stated shipping timeframe, you should offer cancellations. The whole experience has been total garbage.
I placed an order on October 15th and then got a notice that they cancelled it. Why take my order just to cancel it?
