What Shoppers Say About Disney Store
Disney Store is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 23 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Shoppers report critical issues with customer service, including condescending staff, unresponsive support that fails to address concerns, and difficulty obtaining promised refunds or replacements. Frequent complaints also center on shipping problems (lost or severely delayed packages with poor tracking), product quality that falls short of expectations (wrinkled costumes, cheap materials), and problematic return processes that leave customers without resolution.
The few positive reviews are exceptions in an overwhelmingly negative rating distribution. Common frustrations suggest systemic operational failures: missing orders that never arrive, inventory mismanagement that prevents customers from receiving replacements, lack of communication about shipping delays, and customer service representatives who make promises they do not keep. Shoppers describe feeling frustrated and dismissed, with several stating they will not purchase from Disney Store again.

Sorted by: Most recentI would give negative stars if the system allowed it. Ordered a Halloween outfit for my daughter on October 6th and it's been sitting on processing for two weeks straight. I've tried contacting them three separate times and nobody can tell me anything useful. I even asked to cancel the order and they said that wasn't possible either. My daughter is devastated because the costume she wanted is now sold out everywhere. This is honestly terrible service from Disney. The company we all used to love is really dropping the ball.
The confirmation email is misleading. I bought one figment loungefly bag during the restock on the site and it was my first ever purchase there, so I definitely wasn't ordering more than allowed. I got a confirmation email with my order number and my credit card was preauthorized. I waited nine days with nothing shipping, so I sent an email. Days later I got a rude response claiming I never placed an order at all. I managed to reach someone on the live chat and they told me the same thing, that my order didn't exist. But I got a confirmation email with an order number and my card was charged. I never even got a cancellation email telling me the order was cancelled. When I pushed back about the charge on my account, suddenly my money was refunded. But I had to contact them to get it back. The funds were taken when the order was placed, so how can they say I never had an order? Shop Disney apparently has no problem taking your credit card info, charging you, and then claiming the order never happened. They refused to put me on a waiting list or even reach out to get the item from a park location. You don't even have access to the products you're selling?
The customer service team was incredibly helpful. My tracking information got mixed up on an order I placed on April 30th where the tracking said it would arrive on April 5th, which obviously didn't make sense. I called because this was the last pin I needed for my collection and I was stressed about it. I got to talk to Chelsea and she was fantastic. She got everything straightened out and was really kind the whole time. Thanks for the great support.
