The sockeye salmon here is literally the same product sold in those big bags at Whole Foods. The packaging looks identical except they're marketing it as premium seafood when it clearly isn't.
Shipments always arrive when they're supposed to. Quality stays consistent every single time. When it comes to filet mignon, this is my only choice because my daughter is really picky about her beef.
No complaints about delivery times at all. The meat quality never changes, always great. This is where I go for filet mignon because my kid is pretty particular about beef.
Ordered before the holidays as a present for my son. Throughout the ordering process it said delivery was guaranteed by Friday so I could drive seven hours to see him. This was my second order with them and the first time they didn't deliver on schedule either, but this time it actually mattered. Because of the late delivery, I didn't get as much time with my son if I wanted to bring the steaks. One of the steaks seemed fresh, but the other clearly came from a different cow and was already three or four days old based on the color. The steaks tasted good for American Wagyu, nowhere close to Japanese A5 quality but definitely better than store bought. The problem is one was aged way different than the other so they cooked completely differently. If they ever get timely delivery working, maybe I'd try again, but this experience won't get another order from me.
Really frustrated with how this company handled my situation. The steaks arrived warm and basically unusable. Turns out they dropped numbers from my address when processing my order, even though I've ordered from them many times with a saved account. Since I had ordering history there, I didn't double check the address, so the package sat at the delivery facility for three days. They blamed me for the incomplete address. I've placed thousands of orders online and never had a company accept an incomplete address in the first place.
Love what they have here. So much better than what I was getting at regular stores!
