Been dealing with this for over a week now and still getting nowhere. My Estate Firm Pillow Top mattress is just under seven months old and the cover developed a tear despite being protected by a five-inch topper the entire time. I've taken great care of it and maintained it properly, yet Stearns & Foster refuses to acknowledge the warranty claim or offer any suggestions for preventing the tear from getting larger. I've contacted them multiple times through different channels including executive contacts, but I keep getting the same bland responses. Nobody at the higher level even bothered to respond to my inquiries. Their stance is that since the underlying support structure wasn't damaged, they won't do anything about it. It's disappointing when a supposedly luxury mattress deteriorates this quickly and the manufacturer won't back up what they're selling. I wanted to put this out there so other people can make a smarter choice when shopping.

Their tone was dismissive and they seemed way more interested in dodging responsibility than supporting their product.
