What Shoppers Say About HP Store Nederland
HP Store Nederland receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting systemic problems across product quality, customer service, and order fulfillment. Reviewers describe defective products including laptops with failed hinges and charging ports, combined with long shipping delays (weeks to months) and unshipped orders. The most consistent complaint involves customer support: callers report endless hold times, transfers between departments without resolution, incorrect phone numbers, and lack of follow-up unless customers initiate contact repeatedly.
Shopper frustration centers on the disconnect between HP's reputation as a trusted brand and the actual service experience. Refund processes are reportedly slow (taking longer than stated timelines), return instructions are unclear, and support staff are described as unresponsive to problems. Multiple reviewers advise against purchasing from HP Store Nederland, citing the combination of product reliability issues and the difficulty in obtaining help when problems arise.

Sorted by: Most recentCalled their tech support about getting an old printer back on my wireless network. They charged me $19.99 for the service and convinced me to buy a new printer for $69.99 instead. The printer arrived working initially but turned out to be defective. Customer service promised to send a return label with free shipping and overnight a replacement. Two days went by with no replacement, so I checked the tracking. They literally just created the label and hadn't shipped anything. I called back and they said they wouldn't send the replacement until receiving the old one in 3-6 business days. That wasn't acceptable since I'd already been without a printer for over a week. They offered to cancel the replacement and overnight a new one instead. Still no printer two days later. I wish I'd bought it from Best Buy where I could walk in and handle it immediately. And why do they keep pushing their ink subscription service?
Ordered three hp 25-inch 144hz gaming monitors and they arrived in good condition. Once I got my new pc set up and plugged all three in, I realized one of them, though it looked identical, was actually a different model. The colors were off and it didn't support Nvidia G-Sync like the other two. Even worse, false advertising. Their ads show the image going right to the screen edge, but when you plug them in there's a 5-6 inch black border that can't be removed. Skip HP on this one.
Bought an hp spectre laptop from their site with great specs, but it didn't work out of the box. After spending over 20 hours talking to hp support and repeatedly asking for a replacement, I finally shipped the broken laptop to their warehouse. They told me to wait until January for the replacement, which means a whole month for them to fix their mistake. I purchased it in late November. If you've got unlimited free time and patience to call every single day, go ahead. But if you actually need something that works and need it soon, buy from somewhere else. HP wasted so much of my time, and this is absolutely my last purchase from them unless this replacement actually functions. Otherwise I'm getting a refund. Really disappointed. UPDATE: After waiting another two weeks, still no laptop. It's been almost 45 days and HP hadn't even processed the replacement for shipping back even though they've had my laptop and my money the whole time. I'm stuck.
I bought a laptop in an urgent situation but cancelled immediately the next day. A customer service rep helped me submit a cancellation request with very unclear instructions and said I'd get a confirmation email eventually, though it might not go through. I received notification that the laptop was shipping, but never heard back about my cancellation that was requested just hours after ordering. It took over two hours fighting to get my refund processed, and then I found out they charged me a $70 restocking fee. I would never have accepted those terms had I known upfront that it wouldn't be a full refund. I talked to multiple supervisors trying to have the fee removed and they all refused. Their excuse was that it's a customized unit and policy allows them to reject cancellations once production starts. But if they have time to decide whether to accept or deny a cancellation, they definitely have time to stop production, especially when delivery is still two weeks away. The bottom line is that HP will charge you whatever they want.
HP sent me a broken laptop which happens sometimes and I can accept it. But their customer service policies make this a completely unacceptable one-star experience. I bought it during a Thanksgiving sale with a $155 discount, chose the solid state drive option and upgraded to 16GB RAM. Now HP won't exchange the broken laptop they shipped me because company policy apparently prohibits exchanges on custom-built laptops. They want me to return it and order again at current prices, meaning I lose the $155 sale price since all those promotions are gone. They're essentially charging me an extra $155 to fix a problem they created. I've spoken with two different reps, both by phone and through webchat, and both confirmed this ridiculous policy. Don't order from their online store. Even if they mess up and send you a completely non-functioning laptop, their reps are powerless to help.
Don't trust this company. They claim items are in stock when they're not. They claim five-day delivery but don't even process orders that fast. Despite my payment going through, they cancelled my order. When I asked customer service what happened, they literally said our accounts team can be funny sometimes. They cancelled it anyway and sat on my refund for over a week. I wasted all my time and money just so HP could have my card information.
