These guys are the worst and honestly it feels like a scam. I visited their website just to look at the meal options and somehow got automatically signed up for recurring shipments without ever agreeing to it. They've been sending me food boxes that sit outside my house for weeks while I'm traveling. I didn't authorize any of this and they keep charging my credit card anyway. It's ridiculous.

Worst experience ever. I spent almost two hours on the phone and got nowhere with their staff who clearly don't know what they're doing. I've complained every other week about the bland ingredients that never change but nothing happens. I'm done throwing my money at a company that won't listen. You guys don't seem to care at all. If I don't get confirmation that you're addressing this within a day I'm filing a complaint with the attorney general for fraud. Got it?

The delivery side of this service has zero customer support. I'm updating my review from last week after canceling my subscription. TEMPO did send me an email with a phone number after I left, but here's what happened when my meals never showed up. I was supposed to get delivery on a Monday with the food sitting in their warehouse the day before. You can't reach an actual person you're stuck with AI chatbots or text-based support that may or may not be human. Two days later and my fresh meals are still in their warehouse. The chatbot said delivery would happen that day but then told me later when they find a driver. They haven't offered any discount whatsoever. I was told via text to keep checking the tracking link but all it shows is that my food has been sitting in the warehouse since they said it would be. This is my second delivery failure but definitely the worst. I've enjoyed these meals for about eight months and would stick with them if I felt valued enough to get actual phone support. Now I'm trying to cancel this week's order and get my money back but you still can't talk to a real person.

The meals themselves taste fine but get repetitive fast with mostly chicken options. My main issue is the delivery disasters. Out of six orders, I've only received more than half my food once. I typically order 16 meals split across 2 boxes to get a better rate, but FedEx has messed up every single delivery. I've had to throw away at least one box each time because they show up late and the food gets warm. My last order? Both boxes never arrived at all. I waited over a month before trying again and the same thing happened both boxes arrived over a day late and the meals were ruined. The company keeps giving credits instead of fixing the actual problem, but losing money hand over fist on spoiled shipments can't be sustainable. Their current shipping partner clearly isn't working. They need to switch to someone reliable.

Coming from Factor, I was let down. The food just didn't appeal to me. There's a lot of preservatives in the meals that I wish I'd noticed before jumping in. Lesson learned the hard way.

I'm still early in trying Tempo but my first meal was fantastic. Had the garlic herb Alfredo chicken and it knocked it out of the park. The chicken breast stayed tender and moist with genuine quality you can taste. I was able to cut it apart with just a fork it was so tender. And that sauce? Absolutely delicious. The sweet potatoes came perfectly seasoned. Deserves all five stars for sure. As someone dealing with disabilities sometimes sourcing quality meals on a tight budget is tough and cooking isn't always possible. This is exactly what I needed. Already excited to dig into the remaining five meals that came with my order.

Most of these meals are barely worth eating and some aren't edible at all. The packaging is annoying to open. Nothing like Cook Unity which is way better in comparison.
