Touch of Class Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Touch of Class
Touch of Class receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with the majority of reviews citing poor product quality, unreliable inventory management, and unresponsive customer service. Customers report that items feel lightweight and cheaply made relative to their high prices, with specific complaints about design flaws like inconvenient power switch placement on lamps and serving trays that don't sit flat. Several shoppers experienced significant delays, backorders without communication, and charges for out-of-stock items. The few positive aspects mentioned include occasional helpful customer service interactions and product designs that some customers find appealing enough to keep despite quality issues.
The store's track record shows serious fulfillment problems, including orders that never arrive and refund requests that go unanswered, forcing customers to dispute charges with their banks. Communication gaps are a recurring issue, with shoppers reporting weeks of silence on order status and poor treatment when contacting support. While a small subset of customers found the company's service team helpful after product issues arose, the overwhelming pattern suggests significant operational and customer service challenges that deter repeat business.

Sorted by: Most recentI was really worried about ordering here after reading the reviews, but I needed this exact kitchen rug design and couldn't find it anywhere online. The price was around $400 which seemed steep for a rug, combined with all the complaints here made me seriously reconsider. I decided to go for it anyway. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. What really surprised me was how good the quality actually is. I expected a printed design but it's hand embroidered instead, and the material is super thick and sturdy. This rug should hold up for years. I thought it was overpriced at first, but now I understand why it costs that much. It's a genuinely well made product. The material is too heavy duty for a washing machine like I used to do with my old rug, so it'll need professional cleaning when needed. This purchase way exceeded what I was expecting.
Watch out for their outrageous return fees. I paid only $17.95 for shipping on a $361 order that included a bedspread and pillows. But they wanted to charge me $27 just to give me a return label. That's crazy. Then they wanted another $16 to return just one pillow through their vendor. I'm still owed $11.89 and they lost my business permanently. Most companies spell out return shipping limits in their policies, but they don't have any of that transparency.
This is the second part of my experience with this company and it's been a nightmare. Just finished building a new house, moved in, and wanted to do the window treatments myself, so I started ordering from them. My first order actually went fine, which is why I tried ordering again. April 18th I placed a second order for some gray curtain panels. Unlike the first time, these never showed up. Tracked the shipment and found it sitting at my old address that I don't live at anymore. What happened is their system auto-filled my previous address into both shipping and billing fields. The real problem is how did they even charge my credit card with a wrong address? Someone at the company must have manually fixed my billing address from the old order and then sent the package to the wrong house anyway. That person should have called me to verify the address was correct before charging and shipping anything. Never resolved this.
This company is basically a scam masquerading as a furniture store. Stay away completely and read through all the negative reviews here. Their stuff is low quality garbage and their customer service reps are genuinely rude and will just hang up on you. There's nothing good about them. Hundreds of reviews prove people are getting junk products and terrible treatment. This needs way more attention from consumer protection agencies.
Really unhappy with both the quality and the service here. Spent nearly $900 on an Elegante Comforter set plus matching curtains and swags. That was a lot of money for me. The curtains and swags are basically just regular cotton sheets, nothing fancy. Over $500 of that total was just for the curtains and swags and they look nothing like the pictures online. Shipping alone was $100 and that's not refundable, plus I have to pay to send back these pathetic quality curtains. The comforter set won't be refunded because I had the shams monogrammed. They could still refund the comforter and skirt but they refuse to budge. This whole experience has been a disaster and an expensive one. The comforter's supposed to have textured tufts on top but after one day the stitching fell apart and it's completely flat now. Without matching curtains the whole set is pointless anyway since they won't refund it. Wish I'd read reviews before ordering. This cost me a lot of money and caused a ton of frustration. The curtains seriously feel like bedsheets when you touch them.
This place really stepped up for me when I had an issue. My stuff went out through FedEx but ended up at the wrong spot. FedEx wasn't helpful at all, gave me a reference number and then disappeared. After days of nothing, FedEx was a total dead end. I reached out to the store and got immediate help. They were genuinely nice and let me know they'd file a FedEx complaint and replace the item if needed. They stuck with me until everything got sorted out. I really appreciated their customer service approach and plan to buy from them again. Thank you. I don't understand all the negative reviews because my experience was completely positive.
This company really came through for me. FedEx messed up and delivered my order to the wrong place. Spent forever trying to get FedEx to fix it with no luck, they just gave me a tracking number and ghosted me. I called the store directly and they were helpful immediately. They explained that if my package couldn't be located, they'd file a complaint with the carrier and just send me a replacement. They stayed with me the whole way and made it right. Super happy with how they handled the situation and will definitely order from them again. Thanks for being great. I'm confused why other people complain so much because my experience was totally positive from start to finish.
Customer service here is painfully slow. My table arrived damaged, and I sent photos to show the problem. Nobody got back to me. They should rebrand themselves as 'No Class' because that's what they've got.
Done with this company, period. Placed an order in fall using PayPal. Got order confirmation but never got shipping notification. PayPal showed it as pending, which was fine. Two weeks and a bunch of emails later, they finally say my payment was declined. Why didn't they tell me this immediately? By then several things were already out of stock. Told them to cancel that order and placed a new one instead. Same problem again - order confirmed but no shipping update. Another two weeks and more emails, and this time they're saying they thought I wanted to cancel it. That makes no sense, I clearly said this was my replacement order. This company is shady and unreliable. Not going back.
