This 4 inch topper literally changed everything for me. I'd been hunting for a memory foam topper that wasn't super soft but also wasn't rock hard like concrete, and I couldn't find one anywhere. Over the years I kept buying expensive name brand mattresses every few months, but nothing ever felt right. I tried memory foam, coil springs, micro coils - nothing worked. When I heard about ViscoSoft from folks dealing with the same problem, I figured it was worth a shot even though I had pretty high standards. I gotta say, ViscoSoft totally exceeded what I was hoping for. The firmness level sits around 7.5 to 8, which is absolutely perfect if you're someone who can't get comfortable on softer or medium mattresses. A lot of firm mattresses just feel like sleeping on concrete, but this one doesn't. When I sleep on my stomach, I'm not sinking into any weird hammock situation anymore. It's firm enough to keep my whole body and limbs properly supported, but it still has this nice gentle cushion that feels great across my entire body. It's honestly the ideal sweet spot between soft and firm. Both the 3 and 4 inch versions work really well, so either size is a solid choice. I went with the 4, but the 3 would've been fantastic too since the topper doesn't compress or lose size over time. The cover comes off and you can wash it, and I think it's made from bamboo or something similar.
