Got this Type-A to Type-C adapter back in mid-2021. It held up pretty well for almost four years before eventually failing. The small gray cap started coming loose within a few months of ownership, which was frustrating since I'd have to keep putting it back on, and removing it got harder over time. Bought the Satechi Slim W1 Wired USB-C Backlit Keyboard at a store while traveling and discovered it has a defect where single key presses trigger multiple characters due to a bouncing issue. I only noticed this after getting home, so I couldn't return it to where I bought it. Keyboards have been around forever, so you'd think in recent years companies like Satechi would nail the basics of preventing key bounce. Unfortunately this model has exactly that problem. To their credit, Satechi agreed to replace it free even though I bought it overseas, though they made a point of saying this was an exception. I did warn them that the issue seems baked into the design itself, not just my unit. Their customer service wasn't as bad as I feared, but I'm frustrated that I have to use workaround software on my Mac to fix a design flaw that shouldn't exist in the first place.
