What Shoppers Say About Satechi
Satechi receives highly polarized reviews, with shoppers either praising exceptional customer service or expressing frustration with product quality and checkout issues. Those satisfied with their experience highlight responsive support staff who go beyond expectations, quick shipping, and good value for accessories like keyboards and adapters. However, a significant portion of reviewers report quality concerns with wireless peripherals, including unresponsive mice that require multiple clicks and keyboards with slow Bluetooth reconnection times. Several shoppers also complain about unexpected tax charges that substantially increased final prices without clear disclosure during checkout, and delayed shipments.
The store appears to have a strength in customer service recovery but struggles with product reliability and transparent pricing communication. Common issues include connectivity problems with Bluetooth devices, durability concerns even after extended use, and frustration with the ordering and delivery process. Some customers appreciate Satechi as a more affordable alternative to premium brands like Apple, though quality comparisons suggest products align more closely with mid-tier competitors.

Sorted by: Most recentGot an E3 keyboard from Satechi and managed to lose the Bluetooth dongle that came with it. I contacted their support to see if I could buy a replacement. Austin and Victoria went above and beyond instead of just selling me one. They sent it free of charge and walked me through the entire process to make sure everything worked perfectly. Best customer service! Will definitely shop with them again.
Got the Satechi mini backlit Bluetooth keyboard because it was cheaper than Apple's Magic Keyboard. The quality isn't quite in the same league as Apple, honestly more on par with Logitech products. It paired smoothly with my Mac mini at first, but I've noticed it takes a long time to reconnect after the computer wakes up. This causes typing errors since the keys don't always register when I'm entering my password quickly. I reached out to support about this issue but never heard back after a couple of days. I'm not expecting much from their support team anymore. For me, returning items that don't work right is the only real option. Realistically I wouldn't bet on this keyboard lasting years since it feels flimsy, and other customer reviews suggest early failure is common. There aren't many companies making Apple-focused peripherals, so Satechi has a unique spot in the market. Their products seem like a fair deal for the price, even without great customer support. But if this keyboard dies on me soon, I won't be buying from them again.
Really unhappy with how this went. After placing a $260 order, I got hit with an unexpected $100 tax charge. That's a 40 percent increase on top of what I paid, and there was nothing in the checkout process that warned me about this. To make matters worse, my shipment got delayed four separate times!
Not happy with this purchase. My old mouse was showing its age, so I decided to try the Satechi wireless Bluetooth M1. After using it for a bit, I've come to regret the decision. The mouse doesn't respond well and I frequently need to click multiple times to get it to register. Getting it to reconnect to Bluetooth is annoying too. Thankfully my ancient Logitech mouse, despite being around a decade old, still works way better and more reliably.
Got this Type-A to Type-C adapter back in mid-2021. It held up pretty well for almost four years before eventually failing. The small gray cap started coming loose within a few months of ownership, which was frustrating since I'd have to keep putting it back on, and removing it got harder over time. Eventually the cover fell off completely and the internal parts got damaged. It served its purpose for a long time, but the build quality definitely felt cheap overall.
Excellent value for the money! The product arrived looking and performing exactly as described. Shipping was quick and hassle-free. Will definitely be ordering from them again!!
Picked up the Satechi M1 mouse about four weeks ago. The functionality is fine so far, but the clicking noise it makes is unbearably loud. For a company making products to work alongside Apple gear in 2025, you'd think they could design a quiet mouse. It's literally just a switch! Can't recommend this without testing it first. I'll be hesitant to trust their other products going forward.
A month has passed and my order still hasn't shown up. Their support team quit responding to my messages. This is shocking given how much I respected this brand. I'm really let down by how they've handled this.
Awful customer service experience! I spent $300 on a dock plus another $100 in import costs. The unit doesn't work properly. I've tried reaching out via email and social media with zero response, and my support ticket from two days ago still hasn't been acknowledged, even though they claim 12-hour response times. I'm done trying to work with them.
