About LI

LI (li.me) specializes in cell phones and mobile devices for shoppers seeking the latest handsets and wireless technology. Customers visit RetailCoupons.com to find promo codes and deals that can reduce the cost of phones and accessories, which are often among the larger purchases consumers make.

How to Use a LI Promo Code

  1. Browse the active offers listed at the top of the RetailCoupons.com page for LI to see what codes and deals are currently available.
  2. Select a promo code or deal that applies to the phone or accessory you wish to purchase.
  3. Copy the code (if applicable) and navigate to li.me to add your item to the cart.
  4. Proceed to checkout and paste the promo code into the designated field before completing your purchase.
  5. Review the discount confirmation on your order summary to ensure the savings have been applied correctly.

Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • The code may be expired or may have been limited to a specific time window, so verify the offer details on RetailCoupons.com before applying it.
  • Some codes work only on certain phone models or product categories, so confirm the code terms match your intended purchase.
  • Stacking multiple codes on a single order is often not permitted, so use only one promo code per transaction.
  • The code may require a minimum purchase threshold that your order does not meet, so review the terms for any spending requirements.
  • Spaces or characters may have been entered incorrectly when copying the code, so double check the exact spelling before resubmitting.
  • Browser cache or cookies can occasionally prevent codes from registering, so try clearing your cache or using an incognito window.

LI Savings Hacks

Check back frequently for rotating offers

Offers from LI rotate in regularly through affiliate programs, so visit the top of the LI page on RetailCoupons.com often to catch new deals before they expire. Setting a reminder to check back weekly can help you stay ahead of limited-time discounts.

Stack timing with carrier promotions

Wireless carriers frequently run their own phone promotions or trade-in offers, so combining a LI promo code with a concurrent carrier deal may increase your total savings. Check both channels before finalizing your purchase.

Compare prices across product tiers

Phone prices vary significantly by model and release date, so review multiple options in your preferred category to see which offers the best discount when combined with a promo code. Slightly older flagship models sometimes deliver better value than newer budget options.

Watch for seasonal phone release events

Major phone launches and seasonal shopping periods typically trigger deeper discounts, so if you can time your purchase around these events, RetailCoupons.com is likely to feature more aggressive codes from LI.

LI Shipping Policy

Shipping terms and costs vary depending on your order and location, so review the shipping information provided during checkout on li.me to understand your delivery timeframe and any associated fees. Most retailers offer standard and expedited shipping options, which you can typically compare before completing your purchase.

LI Returns & Refund Policy

Return policies for electronics like cell phones often have specific time windows and conditions, so check LI's return policy on li.me or contact their customer service to understand your eligibility and any restocking fees that may apply. Opened or activated phones may have different return terms than sealed devices.

LI (Lime) is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 19 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious issues. Common complaints center on billing problems: shoppers report unexpected overcharges, being charged for rides they did not complete, and charges appearing on their accounts without clear explanation. Beyond billing, reviewers describe frequent mechanical failures, including scooters that will not start despite showing full battery and bikes that remain active in the system even after being reported as damaged. Several shoppers also report frustration with the app's parking validation system, which prevents ride completion in certain zones and creates situations where they feel forced to abandon scooters or face unknown charges.

A small minority of shoppers gave positive ratings, but the overwhelmingly negative feedback suggests fundamental operational problems. Reviewers express frustration with customer support's inability or unwillingness to resolve billing disputes and provide promised refunds or discounts. The combination of unreliable equipment, unexpected charges, and poor service recovery has left most recent reviewers unwilling to use the service again.

Got way overcharged. My brother and I took 3 rides at 4 euros each. Now my disposable card, which I only used for Lime, shows a 34 euro overdraft. Every charge came from Lime. Support has no explanation for this. I'm definitely not destroying scooters just to get even.

Moving to London made me excited about using Lime for quick commutes instead of dealing with traffic. Sounded like a perfect eco-friendly solution. Unfortunately, my experience has been awful. I've ridden broken bikes, canceled trips due to malfunctions, and still got charged. Worse, after reporting a damaged bike, it stayed active and ready to charge other riders. I tried three different bikes in a row and all three were broken, all three still charging me. This doesn't feel like a simple glitch, it feels like theft. When someone reports a bike as broken, it should come offline immediately. Keeping broken bikes active is irresponsible. Londoners need better treatment. If Lime makes real changes, I'd reconsider my opinion, but right now it's just frustrating and dishonest.

I was going to take a Lime, unlocked it, planned my route, then decided against it. When I tried to end the ride without moving the scooter, it wouldn't let me because the parking spot was supposedly too full. I had no real choice but to abandon it there anyway. If they charge me, I'm doing a chargeback.

Your stuff is garbage. Period.

Visited Krakow for a few days and tried Lime scooters for the first time as a group. First scooter wouldn't start despite showing full charge, and we couldn't end the ride because the parking area said it was full. We had to walk it to another spot to trade it in. They promised 40% off our next ride but that discount never showed up. When we tried again, five different parking spots were all full, so we ended up way too far from where we actually needed to be. Won't bother next time.

Picked up my daughter from the train station at 10pm. The scooter charged me £1.50 and just died, leaving her stuck at the station for half an hour.

In Norway and Sweden, Lime works with Binny Mobility AS to handle battery swaps and scooter relocation. This company exploits workers. They hire illegal contractors with no legitimate business registration or bank accounts except payment apps used for money laundering. Workers don't pay taxes and many don't even get paid. They use payment per task for Portuguese and Brazilian workers, sometimes just 10 to 15 NOK per task. The police need to investigate this.

Total waste. Honestly the worst rental experience I've had. Find literally any other company.

Sarah M.Jul 17, 2023

This company is irresponsible. Their Lime bikes caused serious damage to my car and they've completely ignored it. All the photos are on their social media showing the damage clearly, but their only response was 'sorry to hear that.' That doesn't fix my car. They should be paying for repairs.

Used the app once on vacation almost two years ago. Then out of nowhere, they charged £6 a few weeks back to a card that expired over a year prior but was tied to my current bank account. I've been trying to get this sorted because I'm scared there'll be more unauthorized charges. Sent close to 20 emails and either get nothing back or vague responses saying someone else will help, then nothing happens. It's exhausting trying to get my card removed from their system. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

My Lime scooter experience in London was a mess. The navigation kept malfunctioning and the scooter hardly accelerated, probably working less than 20% of the time. I had no choice but to return to my starting parking area since it wouldn't let me drop off anywhere else. My friend managed to park hers at another spot along the same route, but mine wouldn't accept that location. The app glitched so badly I couldn't even submit a one star rating after my trip. Just don't use this.

I live in New Zealand where you're required to wear a helmet when riding a bike or scooter. Rented a bike through the app but the helmet was stuck locked to it. Called support and they literally told me to just ride without one. Not an option for me, so I went searching for another bike. Found one but the helmet was locked to that one too. Called them back for a 25 minute conversation where they finally admitted there's a broken helmet unlock mechanism. They charged me for both bikes even though I never actually rode either one.

Fed up with Lime bikes piled all over our tiny residential street in London. Our neighborhood only has 26 houses and every morning we navigate around these massive bright green bikes dumped in the middle of the sidewalk. Two yesterday, three today. Pick up your trash and stop clogging our street.

Tons of problems with these scooters. The app decides to stop working after you walk to your bike. You get hit with constant error messages. The worst part is the £10 payment holds that take days to release. My actual ride only cost £2. They need to get their act together.

Marcus T.Sep 3, 2022

The scooter itself was fine, though the speed limiting feature took some getting used to. That said, it cost roughly three times what a bus ticket would've been. The bigger problem? My destination had another Lime scooter right there, but the app forced me to ride way out of my way to drop it off. Got charged for every single minute of that forced detour too.
