I didn't know anything about the brand before that job, but I became a genuine believer in both the sheets and the team. Now seven years later, I'm still sleeping on Sheex and just grabbed a new comforter cover a few weeks ago. There's nothing better than getting into bed at night, the quality is outstanding, and I've been recommending them to people for years. I'll definitely keep buying Sheex going forward.
I bought the Original Performance Sheex that have visible seams showing how to position the fitted and flat sheets. My recent order came without those seams, which was unexpected. I've reached out to customer service three separate times and haven't heard back from anyone. When I tried calling, they told me they only handle things through email and that the phone line isn't monitored. This will definitely be my last purchase from them.
I placed an order for $150 and the website indicated I qualified for free shipping. But when I got to checkout, the total jumped to $336 because they were trying to charge me over $200 in shipping fees! I caught this before completing the purchase. It feels like a major bait and switch.
The company just discontinued their sleep rewards program with barely any advance notice, and I lost dollars worth of rewards I'd earned and accumulated. They announced the shutdown on September 7, then deleted everyone's rewards balances on October 1st. That's a terrible move toward customers who've been loyal. I had a substantial amount wiped out. I won't be shopping there again and I'm telling everyone interested in ordering from them to skip it. This is shady business and inexcusable customer service.
I can no longer recommend Sheex as a trustworthy company. For starters, their order processing and shipping are problematic. My order was apparently lost in their system for more than three weeks, and when they finally noticed, they offered to either refund me or process it anyway. Since I'd already been charged and didn't order something I didn't want, I asked them to go ahead. Most legitimate businesses would wait until they've created a shipping label before charging, but not these folks. The charge hit my account the day I placed the order. Given how slow they've been, my original 5-12 day delivery window will probably turn into 5-12 weeks. Another issue is their supposed retail partnerships with brick and mortar stores. This appears to be completely made up. I contacted various chain locations and worked my way up the management ladder, only to get more confused responses about why anyone thought Sheex were sold there. Even when you manage to find an actual store carrying them, staff members seem equally baffled.
I ordered a full bedding set, paid the entire amount upfront, and twelve days later still haven't gotten a tracking number. I've called three separate times leaving voicemails (no live representatives available apparently) and nobody has called me back. Even though these are legitimately my favorite cooling sheets out there, I'd rather sleep on hot coals than go through this nightmare again. All I want is a simple status update. Why is that so difficult?
Their customer service either ignores you completely or gives you the runaround. They shipped me the wrong item, and when I asked them to send the correct one, I either got no response or kept hearing that they'd tell me when it shipped, but nothing happened for three days straight.
I placed an order in February for $113.41 that never arrived. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. When I tried ordering again a week ago, I got an email from an employee who said my new order was being cancelled because she claimed I was a fraud victim. I told her repeatedly that I wasn't committing fraud. She became very unprofessional, sarcastic, and frankly harassing in her emails. She even sent me a message at after midnight, four days into our exchange. This is the worst level of rudeness I've ever gotten from a company, and she never once addressed my missing February order. I've emailed corporate headquarters twice and got zero responses. I will never shop here again.
Their Arctic Aire sheet sets are fantastic. The material is incredibly soft and keeps you so cool throughout the night. Plus, their customer service team is wonderful and responds super fast to any questions you have.
These sheets are fantastic, especially the Arctic Aire MAX model. I sleep hot and create a lot of heat while resting, so I appreciate how these keep me cool even when I crack my window open during winter in New England. The Original Performance ones are decent, but I really prefer the Arctic Aire because it has such a cool and silky texture.
