What Shoppers Say About Footlocker Canada
Footlocker Canada has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 74 percent of reviews rating the store one star. The most frequently cited problems include receiving wrong items or sizes, poor product quality with visible damage like scuffs and creases on shoes, and severely inadequate customer service. Shoppers report that support staff are dismissive of complaints, refuse returns unfairly, and fail to resolve issues even after multiple contact attempts. Inventory management issues have also resulted in order cancellations after items were already paid for.
A small portion of shoppers (11 percent five-star and 11 percent four-star reviews) indicate positive experiences exist, though these are vastly outnumbered by negative ones. The store's discount codes are reported to have limited applicability, working only on clearance items rather than popular styles. The combination of shipping errors, quality control failures, and unresponsive customer service has created a pattern of frustration that dominates shopper feedback.

Sorted by: Most recentHad a really bad experience with this place. They shipped me completely wrong shoes, wrong size and wrong brand. When I called to complain, their support team tried pushing me to accept a size 11 or 13 even though I clearly stated I'm a size 12. I wasted hours just trying to get a basic pair of running shoes sorted out. It was unprofessional, frustrating, and honestly a total letdown. Won't be shopping there going forward.
After buying several pairs of jordan shoes from here, I can say the quality has been the worst I've ever bought, condition issues including scuffs, damaged leather, creases, and more. On top of that, their customer service is terrible. The discount codes they offer barely work and only apply to clearance shoes nobody wants, not the classic styles I actually look for. I have photos of the last pair they sent me and it was a disaster. Don't waste your time shopping at this place or similar retailers. Check out JD Sports or other options instead and you'll get way better treatment.
The online ordering experience here is pretty bad. Placed an order and received a tracking number, but two days later got an email saying it was cancelled because the item wasn't actually in stock. Their inventory management is clearly broken.
This was honestly the worst shopping experience I've had. Purchased a pair of shoes as a gift and realized once I got home that they'd obviously been worn already. I tried returning them but all I got was accusations that I was lying. Called their customer support line and they said I had to mail them back. That was a month ago and I still haven't heard anything or seen my refund. They basically stole my money and won't respond to me.
My girl received shoes from her dad as a gift but never tried them on after he gave them to her. They were the right size at the time. She kept them boxed in her room, planning to wear them on her first day back at school. When she actually put them on that morning, they were uncomfortably tight. I went to the online site but they refused to help because the return window had passed. I wasn't happy about that. However, when I brought them into the physical location and explained the situation, the staff there was totally different. They happily swapped them out for her. They didn't have her size in the store so they ordered the correct ones and had them shipped to our house free of charge. The in-store team was fantastic and really took care of us. Because of how well they treated her, I won't be ordering online from them anymore, but that store location definitely saved my opinion of the company.
I made a purchase on the Foot Locker UK site back in April and immediately realized I'd used an old address. I right away asked customer service to fix it but they said it was too late since the shipment was already with the carrier and I needed to handle it myself. The tracking number didn't work for several days, so I reached out again. They told me it was coming from overseas and tracking would only start working once it hit the destination country. Once it did work, I selected a pickup location with the shipping carrier. When I showed up, they said they'd stopped accepting packages from that shipper weeks ago. I let Foot Locker know and asked for delivery to a different working location, which they confirmed. But the package went to that same closed location again anyway. Now they're saying it'll go back to the warehouse and I'll get my money back in up to 24 days when processing happens plus another week or two for banking. This whole thing has been ridiculous. I spent over a week trying to fix this, wrote dozens of emails back and forth with both companies, and ended up with nothing.
Bought some shoes and returned them within 24 hours because I'm colorblind and my friend pointed out they weren't a matching pair. I wore them for maybe 10 minutes. Looking at the images makes it crystal clear they don't match, but they refused to do anything about it. They claim consumer protection rules don't apply since I had them on. The first staff member said they couldn't resell them so no refund or swap. Then the manager starts being difficult, says they smell like smoke, and when I push back, mutters something about the odor being from something else. I lost it and got upset, even threw a shoe, but I'm still entitled to my money back and compensation for their awful treatment. I'm a registered person with disabilities dealing with recent health issues, but my mind is sharp and I know when I'm getting ripped off. This place deliberately agitates frustrated customers and then uses accusations to shut you down. I wanted to say worse things but I'm trying to be civil. Steer clear of this place.
I've had mostly good experiences here in the past. My one real complaint happened when I tried returning an online purchase at a physical location. The store manager wasn't thrilled about it and made a comment that I should've called ahead to confirm they had that shoe model in stock before coming in. He explained that if it's not a shoe they carry, they have to cover the cost to ship it elsewhere. Look, it's not on me to call first - I should be able to return items anywhere. Next time I do an exchange or return, I'll just request a prepaid shipping label from the start.
Wish there was a way to give negative stars because this place is absolutely awful. I placed an order for 6 shoes on November 29th and got a delivery confirmation on December 2nd, but only 3 items showed up in the box. The shipping notification even said only 3 items were delivered. I've reached out to them countless times and keep getting told they can't help. I even tried disputing it with my bank, but they wouldn't help either since the seller claimed everything was shipped. I have documented proof showing only half my order arrived and it's been over a month with still no refund or replacement shoes. This company is a joke when it comes to customer service, both online and in person. I'm down a hundred bucks because of their complete unprofessionalism and I'll never be back.
They should allow negative ratings because this company's customer service is absolutely dreadful. My wife and I sat on hold for over an hour just trying to reach someone about an order. We'd bought shoes for the kids expecting them before Christmas but that didn't happen. They lost us as customers and we won't be going back. Update: We finally got through but the rep told us the order had shipped when it hadn't. She said to call UPS ourselves, and when we did, UPS had zero record of the package in their system.
