They use an unknown shipping company called mail innovations that lost my package and claimed it was delivered when it wasn't. When I asked them to use a real carrier like UPS, they refused and said they only use mail innovations for New York orders. So I demanded a refund. It's bad that they rely on this cheap shipping service because now I can't order from their site again, and the items are pricey.
Placed an order on December 4th for Christmas gifts. It's now the 17th and it still hasn't shipped. Customer service can't even tell me when it might go out. At this point it's pretty clear I won't get it before Christmas.
Two weeks go by and my order still hasn't been processed. Customer support is basically nonexistent. The whole operation seems sketchy and unprofessional.
Skip this site. I got a broken backpack and they offered a measly 15% discount if I kept it or sent it back. Why would anyone want a discount on a defective item? When I asked about paying for shipping to buy a replacement, they ghosted me. Followed up twice and still nothing. Their service is really bad. Also noticed their Google reviews look suspicious, like they're deleting negative feedback and blocking real reviews. Don't shop here.
During checkout like most sites, you pick your shipping speed and pay extra for expedited delivery. I chose the 3-day option and paid the upcharge. It didn't ship for 3 days and then took 10 more days to arrive, which is standard shipping speed. I reached out asking for a refund of the expedited charge since it came standard rate anyway. Their response was basically too bad, that's just how it is. Then I looked at other review sites and found something fishy. On other platforms their rating is 2.0 to 3.6, not the 5.0 plastered on their website. I tried leaving a review with them but couldn't because all their reviews are computer generated. Everything checks out as sketchy. Haven't even gotten the item yet and I already regret this purchase.
Sanrio and the Hello Kitty brand got caught pushing garbage ads all over Instagram. Really disappointing to see that kind of behavior.
They deserve zero stars. My package was lost during shipping and never arrived. Tracking shows lost and says the vendor needs to handle it. They wouldn't do anything to resolve it. After waiting a full month and them lying about looking into the issue, I had to dispute the charge with my bank.
I ordered after midnight on Black Friday when they were running a sale but didn't apply the 20% discount to my purchase because they failed to update their website. I asked them to add it but they refused, even though I know it's something they could easily do. Instead they just generated a shipping label and claimed they couldn't change anything. Apparently nobody was working November 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving, so nothing shipped those days. Their customer service is terrible, they mislead customers, they don't update promotions timely, and they straight up lie. It's unbelievable that a major international company would pocket a five dollar holiday discount. Their support team doesn't understand or care about what customers need. Worst experience ever with this company and I won't be buying from them again.
Even though this is the official Sanrio website, their customer service is honestly insulting. I ordered expensive glass cups and they shattered during shipping because the packing was inadequate. Sanrio refused to give me my money back and only offered store credit. I will absolutely not order from them again.
I bought two gold and diamond rings from the Hello Kitty collection and both fell apart within 3 to 6 months. I sent them back but Sanrio won't refund my money, they're only offering store credit. I didn't spend that much just to wear a ring for a few months. I'm definitely not spending another penny there, especially not that kind of amount.
