What Shoppers Say About Pintoranch
Pintoranch is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 10 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. The primary complaints center on customer service failures: unresponsive returns departments, ignored emails and phone calls, unclear return policies that contradict what appears on product listings, and refunds that fail to process in a timely manner. Several reviewers also report quality control issues with boots, including defective pairs, worn soles, faulty welts, and visible damage. One reviewer noted paying extra for a return service only to have it blocked as final sale.
The few positive notes mention that boots themselves can be decent quality and that placing initial orders is straightforward. However, the overwhelming pattern suggests that customer service breakdowns and return process failures significantly undermine the shopping experience. Even reviewers who acknowledged acceptable product quality expressed frustration severe enough to drive them away from the retailer.

Sorted by: Most recentGot a full price item but it showed as a first time buyer discount. Nothing on the product listing, receipt, or packing slip said this couldn't be returned, yet when I checked their site the return button was blocked with a final sale message. Even worse, I paid $3.98 extra for their return service. I've emailed twice and left two voice messages with no response. Terrible support.
Bought a pair of Black Jack boots and ran into quality control problems. The replacement pair they sent had even worse issues despite saying they'd inspect it first. The welt started falling apart, visible scars throughout, worn soles, and stitching that went way past where it should have. I'd skip this place.
Got my husband some boots for Christmas at Pinto Ranch and loved how fast they arrived. But they ran too big so we started the return process on December 29th. A week or two went by without a refund. Calls and emails went unanswered. I filed a chargeback with my credit card. Then Pinto Ranch sent a notice saying I'd missed the refund deadline. I found another number on their site and reached Asia Cox. Finally, a real person who listened. She said she'd look into it and call back. She did and fixed everything, and once my credit card company closes the dispute I'll get my refund. Asia was professional, genuinely cared, and went above and beyond. This woman deserves a raise or promotion. I hope Pinto Ranch values what she does for their business.
The boots themselves are decent quality and you can reach someone to place an order, but good luck getting through to the returns department. It's a pain. Because of that hassle, I'm shopping elsewhere now.
Received faulty boots and they wouldn't give me my money back. Don't do business here. Find someone else.
Watch out with this company. They ignore your emails. I requested the promotional 25% discount since my order hadn't arrived yet and got nothing back. Then I needed to return an item I paid extra to send back and still no response. This is the worst customer service I've had anywhere. Someone should report them to the BBB. These western products are way overpriced too. I'll update this review once they actually respond and I get my refund.
Glad to hear they're not taking new orders anymore. That doesn't make up for all the money they took from customers while pushing cheap knockoff products.
Total scam. I ordered online and paid extra for unlimited free returns. Got a Stetson hat that was too small and had stains and damage. Sent it back right away. Two weeks later they hadn't sent a replacement or my money back even though I called customer service almost every single day. Finally a rep told me there was no replacement in stock but couldn't refund me because the refund person was out sick. I filed a PayPal dispute and now they're claiming they can't refund because of the dispute, which makes no sense. I even copied exact instructions from PayPal and sent them. They stopped responding to PayPal and my emails. Almost two months later and I'm still out almost $180 with no refund and no item. This company is done for me.
Called ahead before buying boots to confirm the right size. The staff was super helpful and pointed me toward what would work. Shipping was quick and the boots fit exactly right. Really satisfied with my purchase and would tell others about them.
Ordered two shirts for $188 that should've been 3XL with 54 to 56 inch chests. What showed up was 60 inches across with sleeves that would fit an orangutan. I figured getting in touch with customer service or using their email or chat to swap for my actual size would be simple. Nope, nobody replies to anything. Customer service is absolutely terrible but honestly the shirts are nice, they just don't fit right.
