Bounce Curl Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Bounce Curl
Bounce Curl shoppers are sharply divided in their assessments. Those who rate the products highly praise the hair care results, with customers reporting softer, shinier hair with improved body and volume. Satisfied customers also commend the customer service team for resolving order issues promptly. However, a substantial portion of reviewers report significant problems with shipping, delivery delays, and refund policies. Common complaints include orders that never ship, unexpectedly high international shipping costs that are not refunded, and frustration with how the company handles negative reviews and customer feedback.
The ratings reflect this polarization: half of reviewers give five stars while the other half give one star, with few middle-ground assessments. Beyond product quality concerns, some shoppers express disappointment with discrepancies between marketing claims and actual delivery experiences. The refund policy appears to be a point of contention, particularly regarding shipping fees on returns or orders initiated by customers.
Customer Reviews (15)
Sorted by: Most recentI posted a review back in July 2025, and in February 2026 I got a message saying the company flagged my review for containing defamatory language. Over just a regular customer opinion! Is this how they deal with negative feedback, by trying to get it removed? The review platform checked it and found nothing wrong with what I said. If this is how they treat customers, I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone. The brushes aren't even that great anyway. My daughter used hers for a couple weeks and stopped completely. Total waste of money.
I ran into a problem with my order and the customer service team fixed it right away. I'm satisfied with the products themselves and plan to keep buying from them.
I wish I'd looked at the shipping complaints first before placing my order. My initial purchase was through a German seller, and I was so impressed with the brush that I wanted to buy two more for family. The website mentioned donating to cancer charities, so I went for the pink brushes to help with that cause. Unfortunately, there aren't any budget shipping options to Europe. The delivery alone costs almost as much as the brush itself! I ordered anyway, but then the delivery date got pushed back twice. Next thing I knew, I got a message saying someone had to be home to sign for it. I cleared that on the DHL site, but the package still couldn't arrive because now I had to be there to pay import duties that added up to nearly another full delivery charge! Between everything, I'm looking at over €100 just to get 2 brushes delivered. That's way too expensive. DHL told me if I'm not home to pay the duty, they send it back to the USA. Bounce Curl's automated customer service said I'd need to request a return and cover the shipping cost myself, with zero refund on any of the original shipping charges. I genuinely wanted to support this brand, but this system is really unfair.
The website made the product sound incredible with tons of positive reviews and endorsements from well-known brands. But when I ordered it on June 6, it just sat there and never got shipped out. I'm requesting my money back in full.
Charged me an outrageous amount for international shipping and then basically stole from me. I tracked my order and watched it sit in the USA the whole time. Got a refund for the product itself, but they kept the £18 shipping fee. Total robbery! Their terms say they won't refund postage on returns the customer initiates or if it's the customer's fault, like missing a pickup deadline or providing a wrong address. None of that applies to me. My address was right and I didn't ask for a refund - I wanted my actual purchase. The company messed up with the postal service, not me. I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes. Their customer service response was terrible, expecting me to just accept losing a huge chunk of cash for something I couldn't control with nothing to show for it. Zero apology, no real explanation, and the whole T&Cs feel dishonest. If they'd been upfront that international shipping is risky and you forfeit the postage if a package never leaves the US, I never would've ordered anything in the first place.
My hair is so soft, has tons of body, and looks shiny after using these products. I absolutely love it!
The customer service team reached out and said they'd reimburse the shipping cost I paid originally (€24.32 from USA to Ireland) plus the €20.19 import duties I had to pay through DHL, which I'm grateful for. However, they won't cover the €23.50 I spent to ship my return back from Ireland.
Absolute rip-off if you're ordering from Europe! I bought a brush on July 14 and they shipped it on the 23rd. Since then, the tracking information has been a mess - one system says delivery failed, another says it's still in transit somewhere in Switzerland. I contacted support on August 10 and got a generic response saying international orders typically take over 30 business days. I waited until September 7 to ask for my refund since the package was supposed to be insured, but they gave me the same copy-paste answer. Their customer support is basically nonexistent and they take your money without actually following through on their refund policy. Update from December 12: After posting this review, they finally contacted me saying the package got sent back to the US and I should get my money back once they receive it. Well, it's been over three and a half months and I haven't seen a dime. Now they're claiming they never got the package back. Since it never reached me, I have no way to track it down. If you want to get scammed, go ahead and shop here.
The delivery to the UK is £16, and then they want another £1 for shipping insurance? For that price, you'd think it'd be covered automatically, but Bounce Curl says if you skip that £1, they won't be responsible if it goes missing or gets damaged. That turns a £22 brush into a £39 purchase. Completely unreasonable!
