Sorted by: Most recentStay away from Arrive Outdoors. They clearly don't prioritize making customers happy. My husband and I were excited about renting camping equipment from them for our cross country adventure, since they promised to deliver gear to wherever we were heading. That didn't work out. Our shipment never arrived, and getting the team at the company to actually fix the problem and send our equipment so we could salvage our trip was impossible. Halfway through our four day camping trip, after we kept pushing them, only some of our order showed up. We were missing a cooler and batteries for our lanterns. The whole trip got messed up and we had to spend extra money on restaurants and hotel rooms we hadn't planned for. Their complete lack of response to our many emails made it crystal clear that they don't see us as important customers. If you value your time and money, find a different company.
WARNING: Don't expect timely service from this company. We called ahead because we were worried about not seeing shipment confirmation online, and they gave us a tracking number. When we went to pick it up at the FedEx location, we discovered the package had already been returned since that particular office doesn't store packages. I contacted Arrive Outdoors and was shocked to get zero apology. Instead, Mike told me it was my fault for not knowing that specific FedEx facility's policies, even though their website clearly states they deliver to any authorized FedEx location. He mentioned this happens constantly but refused to do anything about it. Asking for his supervisor resulted in a 4 hour wait that completely ruined our chance of getting a next-day delivery. When I finally spoke with Mikayla, she promised both packages would arrive by 10am on day 3. Only one showed up, and it was missing a cooler plus the batteries for one of our lights. We ended up buying a replacement cooler and made the best of our final couple days on a beach camping trip in Northern California. The only communication we've gotten since is apologies, an offer to refund us, and a promise to cover the cooler cost.
