What Shoppers Say About Magpul Industries
Magpul shoppers consistently praise the quality and durability of the company's firearm accessories and magazines. Fast shipping and responsive customer service are frequently highlighted as strengths, with several reviewers noting quick delivery times and helpful support staff who go the extra mile. However, the direct-to-consumer shopping experience presents significant challenges, with customers reporting website stability issues, transaction failures, and overly aggressive fraud detection that blocks legitimate orders.
Shipping carrier selection has also drawn criticism, with at least one shopper frustrated by being assigned FedEx without alternatives when they preferred other carriers. Some reviewers suggest purchasing Magpul products through other retailers as a workaround to avoid the website and fulfillment problems on the official site.

Sorted by: Most recentMagpul raises the standard when it comes to tough, dependable accessories. Their shipping is fast and their customer service team is responsive. Really appreciate what Magpul does to help keep my gear and weapons functioning properly.
Ordered some magazines, an M Lok front handguard, and additional magazines from Magpul and everything went smoothly. Recent purchases have been arriving incredibly quickly.
I grabbed a used 590A1 shotgun that came with an SGA stock and noticed it was missing one spacer. I called up their support team to see if I could buy replacements since the preowned gun didn't come complete and the length was too short for me. Brian was incredibly attentive and professional with helping me out. My payment ended up having issues for whatever reason, but he just went ahead and shipped the spacers to me free of charge. This kind of treatment makes me a Magpul customer for life.
The magazines themselves were fantastic, but the shipping situation was disappointing. I didn't get any say in which carrier would deliver my package and they just used Fedex. I usually have good luck with Amazon, UPS, or USPS, but Fedex has always been terrible with finding my address and their delivery estimates are basically guesses. I would've gladly paid extra for any other carrier. What actually happened was Fedex left my gun magazines at the wrong house. I felt uncomfortable asking my neighbor to return them since I was worried it might come across wrong. Thankfully she brought them by after a couple days and was very nice about it. The products were great, but I really wish Magpul would let customers pick their shipping carrier. It might make me shop elsewhere just to avoid Fedex in the future.
Their products are solid but their retail website is a nightmare. They're clearly not built for direct to consumer sales even though they're trying. Since you can grab their stuff from other retailers, you should probably do that instead. Their website constantly goes down and when it's actually working, transactions don't go through. By the way, Midway USA has better pricing on their products anyway. They seem to view retail as an inconvenience rather than an opportunity, and they pass that frustration to their customers.
Complete disaster. I tried ordering a couple Daka Organizers and the company cancelled it saying their fraud detection flagged it. Their fraud system must be absolutely broken. A fraud detection system that actually works, or even basic common sense, would be a huge improvement. I guess they don't want my business. My own personal fraud alarm is now screaming at me to never order from them again and tell everyone else to skip them too. Good luck with that business model.
I messed up and ordered the wrong part myself. Magpul apparently figured it out and even threw in a prepaid return label. I called and talked to an incredibly nice representative who actually apologized for my mistake. She told me that even though she had the next day off, she was going to personally ensure my correct order shipped right away so I wouldn't have to wait weeks. Sure enough, the next day I got the shipping notification. This is hands down the best customer service experience I've had in years. I wish I could remember her name to give her proper credit, but the conversation happened on Dec 12, 2024. Magpul, if this is how you train all your people then you're crushing it. If not, learn from her because she's your biggest asset.
Their products are industry standard stuff that anyone who shoots knows about and relies on regularly. Customer service though is inconsistent. Magpul is one of those names you almost have to use if you're into firearms, but their support team seems to have some people who don't really know their stuff. Some interactions have been great while others have been really frustrating. Their products are worth buying but if you need help with anything, verify the information you get because it might not be accurate.
This company keeps impressing me every time I shop with them. They've really ramped up how quickly they process and ship orders. When I need shooting gear and accessories, they're always my first choice. Their stuff is high quality and the prices are reasonable.
