Update: Actually, their prices are fantastic. I wanted the same shoe in a different color, so I watched for a couple days. Right when I was about to buy, they dropped the price 30% off. I grabbed them with that discount and this time everything moved smoothly. The item came exactly when they said it would. Even though I was frustrated the first time, I decided to give them another shot and got what I wanted. Definitely ordering more stuff! Much appreciated!
I've bought two Brunello Cucinelli pieces from Giglio. First, I got some linen pants back in May and shipped them to NY. The shipping took a bit, but I ended up with an authentic item for way less than what you'd pay here in the US. Visited their Palermo store on vacation in June and absolutely enjoyed it. Then in July I ordered a matching shirt. Again, shipping wasn't lightning fast, but otherwise nothing to complain about. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

You hand over your money, but instead of moving into processing right away, they want to verify stock first. Basically you're paying for something that might not actually be in stock. I reached out to their support team several times, but all I got back were generic copy-paste responses. Nobody would tell me when my jacket would arrive, just vague stuff and more waiting. Still haven't gotten my PayPal refund even though they're the ones who killed the order. Even weirder: I looked again later and the same jacket is back up for sale on their site. I placed an order on November 28 and now it's December 28 with still no clue when it's arriving, even though I paid the full amount up front. This was supposed to be a birthday present, then became a Christmas gift, and at this point it's just a mystery package that won't show up. Giglio says 15 business days is their shipping promise, but they count that from when the carrier actually gets the box, not from when you order. So basically they could take months to ship and still claim they're on time, which is ridiculous. They won't own up to any responsibility, won't compensate me, and refuse to give me any actual delivery date. My money's already gone from my account. Warning to potential shoppers: Based on what I've been through, I can't recommend this company. I'd give them zero stars if the system allowed it.
