I tried placing an order for someone, used their info but my address for billing since mine was different. They charged me but then cancelled due to a card issue. I tried again with a different payment method and got charged once more, only to have it cancelled again. Now I'm out over $200 waiting for refunds to process back. I'm international and just wanted to send a gift to someone in the States, but their system won't accept different billing and shipping addresses. If it fails, the money still disappears from your account, which shouldn't be legal.

Where do I even begin with Box Lunch? They cancel the free item on buy-two-get-one deals, they won't ship from stores to your home, and they won't transfer things between locations. Then they issue store credit but won't let you use it on most of their own branded products. And the pricing scheme is shady - items are priced just below the threshold so you can't stack your coupons. A bag costs $79.90 instead of $80 so you can only use one $20 coupon instead of two. It's calculated manipulation. I'm buying way less because of this nonsense. The inventory system is terrible too, and even their own customer service reps can't tell you what's actually in stock. It's a mess of a company.

Just a bogus operation. They charged me and never sent my item. I asked for a refund, got charged again instead. It's been three months and I haven't seen my money back. I listened to the manager on the phone talking to some corporate person who promised my refund within five days. Still waiting. They're thieves. Don't go there. Also, never order Funko Pops from them - 100% lies about having inventory and a warehouse.

I grabbed a bunch of cute stuff that was supposedly on sale, but I got charged full price instead. What should've cost me $56 ended up being $96. The items are still showing as discounted on their site. Trying to reach customer service has been a pain because their contact form has this tiny character limit - I'd need to fill out like 3 different forms just to explain my whole situation. Called to speak with a manager and found out the issue was the address mismatch. She said there's nothing she can do about it. So what, I can never send someone a gift directly to their home? I can never use a PO box? This is absolutely insane business practice.

She's probably new, but I'm definitely not going back. She kept staring at me and my grandmother in this weird way that made both of us uncomfortable and upset. I've had great interactions with their staff before, but this person completely ruined the experience. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Warning to all shoppers: be extremely careful here. The return and refund process is designed to make your life miserable. I bought two shirts right before Christmas and wanted to cancel the same day. They refused, saying it was already in the warehouse, so tough luck. I had to pay for something I didn't want, wait for delivery, then return it. And after I got the refund, I had to wait up to 30 days. I sent it back on December 23rd with tracking confirmation it arrived on the 26th, but a full month later still no refund. When I called, a customer service person actually laughed at me and asked why I bought something I didn't want. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and urge others to do the same.
