if I could put no stars

if I could put no stars, I wouldThis is what happens when you have a monopolyThe way we were treated on our return first class flight back from New York John FK airport was nothing more than disgustingThey boarded us served the drinks like I said we were in first class, which was a treat from my wife first time everAs my wife put a blanket over me because I felt slightly under the weather, I noticed one of the staff taking a particular interest in meShe insisted on taking my temperature and put a strip across my head. My temperature was 38° which were a 63 year-old man is fairly normal. There was clearly an agenda they wanted those seatsSo they told us we had to get off the plane because I had a high temperature. I didn’t have a temperature at all.So without any duty of care and quite frankly not giving a shit they made us get off the planeThey clearly wanted those seats for somebody else and they had their own agendaWhen we got off the plane, the Grand crew gave us a number and said call this and we will try to relocate you another flight. We can’t guarantee first class. So they left the stranded in New York without any flight home and a major treat. First class flight for the first time was just sorry and goodbye. These people are nothing short of disgusting. We had nowhere to go no flights home and I didn’t even have a high temperature and now they are lying saying that my temperature was high when it wasn’t as usual it’s their word against yours and never gonna win with the monopoly we will never fly with them ever again they have taken away any goodwill the point was my temperature wasn’t high. They needed the seats and they found an excuse and the fact that we paid an absolute fortune for first class tickets. HOME seems to be irrelevant. I flown all around the world and and had some shitty service, but this is a whole new level of get off the plane we don’t give a care what happens to you we need the seats you’ve given us an excuse to bounce youEven when we left, they said when we do finally get you back on another flight it probably won’t be first classIt’s basically daylight robbery and theft of our harder moneyWe will never ever fly with these awful people againStranded in New York for no apparent reason if they can bounce me for a 38° temperature which is my normal temperature they clearly had an agenda and I didn’t give a shit what happened to us once we were off the plane disgusting

British Airways is not with the hassle of booking.

I’ve been a BA customer for over three decades. While the in flight experience is generally good, their access on the ground through their app, which is currently not working and hasn’t worked properly for months and even their website is dismal. I’ve been trying to book something for a while and cannot get access to any of their trips and holidays. Whoever’s running the tech side needs to be fired, as well as CEO #SeanDoyle, who seems to have really let the company run into the ground. What a shame as I was a very, very loyal British Airways customer. Not anymore.

VERY unhappy customer!

My hand luggage was misplaced by British Airways three weeks ago now. It seems like they don’t give a f*** - evidenced by their lack of communication. The lost baggage case was closed for NO good reason. As far as I’m concerned it should only be closed WHEN I ACTUALLY HAVE MY LUGGAGE. I was advised by someone I spoke to on the customer service line that the case would be reopened…no prizes for guessing if this has happened or not. I am constantly having to chase the situation. I’m questioning whether it’s a good idea to ever fly with them again. It’s a shame because BA was once a solid airliner.

Ba flight 274 Las Vegas to Heathrow

Ba flight 274 Las Vegas to Heathrow This was a Business Class return flight from Heathrow and was a birthday treat to myself Only the 3rd time I've flown BC ( so far !) as I normally fly economy and have to say the service provided by the cabin crew was nothing short of amazing especially Hakim, who made the direct flight 5 star going above and beyond when it comes to customer service .The dining experience with drinks provided , along with the flat bed facility, made this a flight to remember .I"m aware not everyone can afford to fly BC but on the strength of this flight I've booked BC again for my March trip to Pittsburgh and possibly again later in the year to Las Vegas Negatives ? I can only say I found he app difficult to check in 24 hours before, though have never had trouble using it to book flights previously .Many thanks to all on that overnight Dec 3 flight from Vegas to Heathrow and especially Hakim and the cabin crew on that flight

Disgraceful and frankly embarrassing for what was once a well-respected airline.

I paid almost double the ticket price for Premium Economy and endured one of the most unpleasant long-haul flights I’ve ever had, worse than Economy. This was a night flight, yet after boarding British Airways upgraded another passenger and child for free and seated them next to me. As a full-paying customer, I bore the full impact of that decision. The mother was largely oblivious, and the child repeatedly knocked over drinks, often without even realising. One spill involved a cup containing toothpaste residue after teeth were brushed at the seat. I barely slept, spent the night tense and on edge, and then had a long drive at the other end.The area around my seat became dirty and unhygienic, with rubbish, old food and spilled drinks left for hours. This is completely unacceptable in a cabin sold as “premium”.The rest of the experience matched this standard: broken headphones, faulty seating, minimal drinks service (we had to walk to the back despite using the call button), and food that didn’t match what was advertised. This was a stark decline from our excellent outbound BA flight, which was longer. What’s been just as bad is the customer service. British Airways have taken no accountability, responding only with automated, generic messages from multiple teams saying my feedback has been “passed on”. They ignored repeated requests to escalate my complaint to someone senior. This is unacceptable given my rights as a customer.Disgraceful and frankly embarrassing for what was once a well-respected airline. Don’t bother flying British Airways long-haul if you’re paying extra, it isn’t worth it.

I flew from Belfast to London Heathrow…

I flew from Belfast to London Heathrow and when I arrived in Heathrow my bag was missing. I called BA 31 times trying to get some information about my lost luggage. They were so unhelpful informing me that my bag had not been put on the plane and was still in Belfast. They assured me that they would have it to me within 48 hours. Everyone I spoke to gave me a different story. I was so so upset. They eventually found my bag and said they would deliver it to me the next day which they didn’t. My husband had to get a taxi to the lost baggage depot in Heathrow to collect the bag personally. The taxi fare cost £80 and British Airways have refused to refund me for this amount despite the fact that they didn’t have to pay a courier to deliver my bag. This incident ruined my trip and caused me so much upset. I have tried to reason with them but keep getting a different response from different agents obviously in a centre in India. They have not read my case notes and just keep repeating the same old story. Unfortunately BA have the monopoly on flights to London Heathrow from Belfast so although I’m furious with their lack of customer support I have no other option. I can also see that they do not respond to any of the other readers comments. This should not be allowed. If I could boycott them I would. Rubbish airline.

Lamentable beyond belief !

Raised one issue about the service on an outwlbound journey which was just lamentable, told BA via a survey and rang up and they have a WASH YOUR HANDS of services! Rang again today to just add a suitcase after 5 failed attempts, called in and again the commgire on the phone tonight at 19.15 says there's nothing we can do!!!! Lamentable is just putting it politely! All BA want is your money.… and as soon as something goes wrong, it's a WASH your HANDS of service that kicks in. The service of BA falls woefully short and this is a multi million pound company that cannot even check in one extra suitcase or deal with an outbound flight service issue! And if every boycotted BA For one month what would happen. An issue reported is Important to the individual otherwise why would they ring up! Take responsibility Whi ever is caretaking this airline !

Connecting flight from Madrid to Mexico

I had a connecting flight from Madrid to Mexico travelling from London and after pleading countless times with the person at the gate to allow my cabin bag go with me he still refused, even though other passengers were carrying their cabin bag with them with no issues. This led to a very real risk of losing my connecting flight for no reason. Very bad service from those working at the gate with no empathy at all.

Flew First Class from Singapore to…

Flew First Class from Singapore to London Heathrow on the 777-300ER and had a fantastic experience. I’d read mixed reviews beforehand but honestly couldn’t fault it.Check-in, boarding and the lounges were excellent. The seat was spacious and converted into a very comfortable bed, and food and drinks were available on demand. Wi-Fi worked well, the amenity kit and pyjamas were great, and the entertainment selection was strong. The crew really stood out — Steve and Trisha were excellent, and Alan, the cabin manager, ran the cabin superbly. Food was very good overall, with only minor points (burnt toast and a chicken dish on the bone).Booked using Avios and a companion voucher, which made it exceptional value. A genuinely premium First Class experience I’d happily repeat.
