  2. Enter your pickup and return locations and dates.

  3. On the booking page, click “I have a promo code / contract no.”

1. Can I cancel my booking for free?

Yes, cancellation is free if both of the following apply:

  • You didn’t book a non-refundable or non-changeable rate.

  • You cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time.

2. What additional services does Europcar offer?

To enhance customers’ rental experience, Europcar offers various additional services, including: Additional Driver, Out-of-Hour Collection & Key Return, Delivery & Collection, Full Tank Option, Roadside Assistance Products.

All these options can be selected directly when booking online or through their reservation center or directly at the counter.

3. Are there any age restrictions when renting a vehicle?

Yes. In most countries, you must be aged 21 or over to rent a car and in any case have held a driving license for at least one year. However, the age requirements may vary according to the country and to the vehicle category considered.

Very good experience

Surprised to see so many negative reviews, I guess we were lucky!Booked a Citroen C4 for 2 weeks from Malta airport and everything went very well. Car wasn't in the best condition and the dimly lit car park wasn't good for spotting scuffs and scrapes but we managed and staff advised us to download a specific app for directions as Google apparently doesn't work well on the island. Had a great holiday and dropped car off where we discovered a large scrape down the side of the car which must have happened on our last night but as we'd left in the dark we hadn't spotted it. Charged us 300 euros but as we had taken full insurance it was refunded within a couple of days with no questions asked.

Excellent Service in Jakarta

I recently rented a car from Europcar at Jakarta Airport and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The vehicle itself was in great condition—clean, comfortable, and clearly well‑maintained—which made driving around Jakarta smooth and stress‑free. For the quality of the car and the overall service, the value was genuinely impressive.What really stood out, though, was the team at the rental counter. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making the pickup and return process quick and hassle‑free. They explained everything clearly, handled the paperwork with ease, and made sure I felt confident before driving off.Overall, Europcar at Jakarta Airport delivered exactly what you hope for when renting a car: great value, a reliable vehicle, and professional service with a personal touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from them again on my return to Jakarta.

Excellent Customer Service

In total, my husband and I rented a Europcar for 3 months (Sept 5 -Dec 2) and had a great experience. At first, we rented an electric car at Fiumicino Airport but quickly found out it would not work well for us outside of Rome. So, we went to the Europcar office at the train station in Rome and the agent Marco kindly exchanged it for a gasoline powered Jeep, which looked worn and a bit dented but took us where we needed to go in Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo. At the end of October, Marco contacted me saying that Europcar wanted to sell the Jeep so we would need to exchange the car again. Since we had plans in Gubbio and could not take the car to the Europcar office in Perugia, Marco in Rome arranged with Dario in the Perugia office and he kindly brought us the replacement vehicle, a Peugeot 2008 at no extra charge. It was brand new, luxurious and comfortable but the suspension is rough so you feel all of the bumps on the road. The car is high-tech so Dario spent some time helping us figure out AC controls, pairing my phone, etc. Like Marco in Rome, Dario in Perugia gave us excellent customer service. When it was time to return the car, we spoke with Rosita and Lorenzo in Rome about dropping it off in Bari so we could easily take the ferry to Albania. Again, the willingness of the Europcar staff to help us so we would not have to pay a huge one-way fee was wonderful. Rosita and Lorenzo arranged for us to return the car in Bari and the Europcar agent in Bari was also kind. He called us 2 cabs because the first would not take our little dog even in her carrier bag and all our luggage and he helped us communicate with the taxi driver. I will definitely use Europcar again when I need to rent a vehicle and I highly recommend Europcar to everyone. I am a Hertz Gold member but, frankly, prefer Europcar because of its consistently stellar customer service and value for the money. I'd like to especially thank Marco at Europcar Rome train station, Dario at Europcar in Perugia, Rosita and Lorenzo in Rome and the agent at Europcar in Bari.

My car's battery went flat - and the staff at Paphos answered my call and had a staff member at my villa WITHIN AN HOUR of the call who fitted a new battery and I was back on the road again.Thanks to Florin who came out and to the Europcar team at Paphos airport.

Great experience renting a car in…

Great experience renting a car in Fuerteventura for a week, the staff were very helpful. The car clean and modern. Drop off was very quick. Prices for insurance seem a bit high, but I can't say if that's a standard price, but felt high as cost of the rental was less than covering the vehicle with the medium level insurance cover.
