Kitchen Stuff Plus Reviews
Kitchen Stuff Plus receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with the vast majority citing serious issues with returns and customer service. Reviewers report that the company makes returning items extremely difficult, with complaints ranging from in-person return requirements for out-of-area customers to staff allegedly fabricating reasons to reject returns. Additional complaints include receiving damaged merchandise, unresponsive customer service, inaccurate tracking information, and order cancellations without proper resolution.
The handful of positive reviews suggest some customers have had acceptable experiences, but these are vastly outnumbered by reports of poor product quality, misleading return policies, and what multiple shoppers describe as deliberately unhelpful staff behavior. The pattern of complaints indicates systemic problems with how the company handles customer issues and fulfillment.
This place is a total con. They say they'll take returns but then they just lie about it.
Terrible experience. Steer clear of Kitchen Stuff Plus. The quality of their items is poor and they refuse to give refunds. They handle their customers however they feel like.
This company ships out broken or damaged merchandise and if you live outside their area you're stuck with it because returns have to be made in person. Total scam. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
Stay away from this store unless you're okay with never getting a return approved. I bought a drum slicer at their Richmond Hill location and tried to return it. The cashier named Lana kept making up different reasons to reject it. First she said it was used and smelled like garlic, even though I hadn't used it at all. Then she switched her story and claimed it smelled like other foods. After that, she said the plastic wrapping on the parts looked damp. It was incredibly frustrating and rude. When I mentioned I'd contact customer service about this, she brushed me off and was totally disrespectful. Also worth mentioning that the return policy posted in the store doesn't even say items have to be unused, so her excuses made even less sense.
Kitchen Stuff Plus at their Mississauga location sent me a shipment confirmation with no tracking info. I emailed their customer service team back and got a response with a tracking number that didn't work on the UPS website. I tried their online chat and just got a generic copy-paste response with no indication they were going to actually contact UPS to fix it. After waiting five days, I called UPS myself and found out the tracking number was completely wrong. I notified Kitchen Stuff again and received another automated template message from someone named Hayden. This company clearly goes out of its way to avoid having their actual employees talk to customers, whether you call or use their chat. Even if my order somehow shows up, I'm not coming back here again.
Don't order from this company. I made a large order online but they refused to cover Purolator shipping costs and just cancelled the entire thing instead. Yeah, the postal strike has been a headache for businesses, but the right move is still to ship out orders, not throw them in the trash.
Went to the KSP 40% off warehouse sale closing in Brampton. I wanted to grab some wooden coat hangers that I'd already paid five dollars for at the Hamilton location. With the 40% discount applied, those same hangers were still five dollars. What a total ripoff.
Had an amazing first experience with this store. As a customer in Quebec, I wasn't familiar with them before. The speed of shipping blew my mind. I ordered Wednesday evening and had it in my hands by Friday afternoon. The packaging was done really carefully and they let me use a new customer discount. Definitely a 5 out of 5!
