What Shoppers Say About 3V Gear
3V Gear receives sharply divided feedback, with shoppers either highly satisfied or significantly disappointed. Positive reviewers praise the brand's product design, comfort, and versatility, noting that their gear works well for multiple uses from commuting to outdoor activities. These customers also highlight the company's solid build quality and responsive customer service, expressing confidence in repurchasing. However, negative reviewers report serious durability issues, particularly with zippers failing within the first month and seams separating after only a week of use. Multiple customers describe receiving replacements through warranty claims in the past but express frustration with recent changes to the company's warranty terms and reduced support.
The stark contrast in experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in product quality or manufacturing, as some customers report excellent longevity while others face immediate failures. While design and customer service initially receive praise, the frequency of structural failures among multiple reviewers raises concerns about whether these positive attributes can overcome the fundamental durability problems some customers have encountered.

Sorted by: Most recentThe Velox 2 does everything I need it to do. I take it to work with my laptop and gym stuff, and when I head out for mountain biking trips or exploring places like Utah, I just swap things out and it works perfectly. The pack is super comfortable to wear and built to last. Impressed with the company overall, their gear is solid and the people behind it are great.
The redline pack from this company looks fantastic and has a great design with tons of useful pockets and compartments. I really like how it turned out style-wise. Unfortunately, the quality is a serious letdown. After just about a week of having it, the seam on the back started coming apart and turned into a massive tear. The fabric in that area, right under the main zipper and where the shoulder straps attach, is clearly cheap stuff. It's thin and tears way too easily. Since I'm overseas, shipping it back would cost me an arm and a leg, so I'm stuck with a broken pack.
Great products and excellent customer service here. Really happy with my purchase and definitely planning to buy from them again in the future!
I've purchased three different backpacks from this brand, and every single one has had zipper failures within the first month of using it. With my first couple of packs, the company was helpful and sent replacements after I provided photos and proof of purchase. But things changed when they updated their warranty terms. Now instead of standing behind their products, they want customers to cover the cost of shipping the damaged bag back to them for repairs. They'll cover the return shipping on the fixed pack, but you have to pay out of pocket to send the broken one in. That's not the kind of customer support I expect from a company claiming a lifetime warranty.
