Adams Polishes Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Adams Polishes
Adams Polishes receives a low overall rating of 1.8 out of 5 from 24 shoppers, with significant frustration centered on order fulfillment and customer service. The majority of reviewers report severe delays in shipping, with orders sitting unfulfilled for weeks and customers forced to call repeatedly to learn about backorders or inventory issues. Additional complaints include unresponsive communication about delays, refusal to replace defective products, and poor inventory management that leaves shoppers without clear timelines on when orders will arrive.
A small minority of shoppers praise the quality of Adams Polishes products themselves, describing them as reliable and among the best available. These satisfied customers acknowledge that some shipping issues may be carrier-related rather than the company's fault. However, the overwhelming majority of feedback suggests that product quality cannot overcome the operational and customer service problems that define the shopping experience at this retailer.
Customer Reviews (24)
Sorted by: Most recentTheir customer service is beyond terrible and honestly doesn't even merit a single star. They kept telling me to check back the following week. A month later they mentioned a seal problem with a pressure washer and said it'd be another month before getting it. They never told me about these delays on their own; I had to keep calling to find out what was happening. The shipping tracking they gave me just said a label was created and waiting for pickup but nothing ever happened. Not waiting any longer and definitely don't trust this outfit. I canceled my order. On top of that, I left a negative review on their site and they took it down right away.
Put in an order for almost two hundred bucks nine days back and it's still sitting there unfulfilled. They haven't even created the shipping label yet. A buddy told me their stuff is really good so I wanted to give them a shot. I used Chemical Guys before and anything ordered by five in the afternoon would be on its way the next day. Pretty let down by how slow their process is.
Got a promotional email about mystery boxes, ordered one, and nothing arrived. Called them and got told they were slammed from the holidays. Still interested, I placed another order in late January. Disappointing really, since I figured the box would have the usual assortment of items. Doesn't seem like they're focused on making customers happy, just getting orders in. I'll probably go with other brands going forward. When the box finally showed up, the contents were pretty rough because bottles had frozen and broken. I shot some video and took pictures, then sent them to their orders address but heard nothing back. I tried calling and they said they'd check it out and see what they had available. That's pretty frustrating when the main reason you pay more is for good customer support, and now it seems like even my intact items won't make it through except for a cheap microfiber towel that came sealed.
Definitely worth checking out Adam's Polishes if you want quality items and reliable support. A lot of folks mention having trouble with customer service, but my experience has been fantastic. Their stuff ranks among the best around. Sure, carriers lose packages sometimes, but that's just part of how shipping works. You'll get solid products backed by helpful team members here.
Shipping takes way too long. Every order I've placed has had backorder items but instead of letting me know via email, I have to call them to find out why stuff hasn't moved. Their inventory management is spotty at best.
Used a can of their detail spray that was two years old. It turned out to be defective and leaked everywhere. When I contacted the company, they said there's no expiration date printed on it. After asking about a replacement, they refused because the can was too old. Hard to trust a company that makes decisions like that.
Got their Pro-Series Pressure Washer Two Point Zero and found out they acknowledged a design flaw themselves: they've now updated the outlet adapter piece. They mailed me a U-shaped wire with zero instructions. I kept asking for detailed help on how to install or repair this wire component. They won't send a photo or step-by-step guide on fixing this broken part. Since they refuse to provide installation help, I requested my money back. They won't refund it. Do yourself a favor and skip this pressure washer or you'll end up with a useless paperweight.
I actually really dig their products and tell people about them all the time. That said, I've been trying to get in touch with the company for weeks now using their chat, email, and phone options and nobody's getting back to me. I figured maybe they were short-staffed, but after roughly three weeks of attempting contact through multiple channels several times each, I'm throwing in the towel. They literally don't have customer support available.
All the hype but honestly, it works okay and that's about it. Took forever to arrive too. The shipper is DHL and their tracking is sketchy at best. The ceramic coating bottle is the only glass one and it's fragile like a test tube, so it broke. My mistake, but I reordered using FedEx three day delivery and paid the extra twenty-two bucks. They still shipped it through DHL and it's been five days with no sign of it yet.
This is my one and only time buying from Adams Polishes. Ordered some foam pads on the first of November and twelve days later they still hadn't shown up. I'm near Orlando and according to the DHL tracking, the package kept arriving and leaving the area over and over. Their website promised fast turnaround, but that's completely false. Worst experience ever. Customer service was equally disappointing and didn't even want to listen to my issue. I told them to find a better carrier but they weren't interested. I also ordered two finishing pads through Amazon on a separate occasion and they called saying they didn't have a phone number for my place and couldn't deliver. I called Amazon and they confirmed they had the right address and sent it to the carrier again. Amazon said it should arrive by the eighteenth. At this point I have no idea when or if either order will show up. Never dealing with them again. Other car care companies have just as good or better products, cost less, and don't put you through this headache.
