What Shoppers Say About Adams Polishes
Adams Polishes receives a low overall rating of 1.8 out of 5 from 24 shoppers, with significant frustration centered on order fulfillment and customer service. The majority of reviewers report severe delays in shipping, with orders sitting unfulfilled for weeks and customers forced to call repeatedly to learn about backorders or inventory issues. Additional complaints include unresponsive communication about delays, refusal to replace defective products, and poor inventory management that leaves shoppers without clear timelines on when orders will arrive.
A small minority of shoppers praise the quality of Adams Polishes products themselves, describing them as reliable and among the best available. These satisfied customers acknowledge that some shipping issues may be carrier-related rather than the company's fault. However, the overwhelming majority of feedback suggests that product quality cannot overcome the operational and customer service problems that define the shopping experience at this retailer.

Sorted by: Most recentPlaced a fairly big order and it's taken four business days just to get a shipping label printed. In an era where Amazon exists, it's wild that companies with basically zero supply chain knowledge are still operating. They should seriously upgrade their operational game to stay competitive. On another note, they tack on seven bucks shipping for purchases through their Amazon store, which seems excessive. They make solid products but their business operations need major work to meet current standards.
The products themselves are great, but their customer support is lacking. I placed two separate orders within a couple days and they combined them into one FedEx shipment, which was fine. Except there was apparently a main tracking number and a secondary one. I got given the secondary number. Due to personal circumstances, someone else picked up my package and they weren't able to open it to verify contents. When I asked Adams about it, they claimed they don't have any information on that tracking number and won't help figure it out.
Their products are fantastic and I've been using them for years, but a recent product issue led me to contact support and wow, what a letdown. The team was rude and quick to blame me instead of giving any actual help or advice. They just point fingers and move on. Good customer service matters as much as the product quality does. I'm switching Adams out in my operation for a company that delivers on both good products and good support behind them. This hurts to say, but I have to move on.
Your products are fantastic. Everything I've gotten like the window cleaner, the detailer spray, ceramic coating, and a bunch of different cloths all performed really well. Very happy with my purchases.
I've tested tons of detailing products over the years. These rank as absolutely the worst I've found. Pick something else instead. Trust me on this one.
The actual products are really good, assuming you can get them after you order. Out of five orders, two times items were suddenly unavailable even though their site showed specific quantities in stock. Don't count on getting what you actually purchase sent out to you. And their customer support is absolutely terrible and rude. People come across like you're bothering them. The reps act like you should already know all about every item they sell. Seems like they care about sales numbers, not building relationships with actual customers.
My delivery went to the wrong house even though the address was right, FedEx just wasn't paying attention. When I eventually got my package, it had been opened. I let Adams know through email and they wanted pictures of everything inside. I sent those along but never got a straight answer about whether the package had everything I paid for. I was looking for the ceramic coating but ended up with a flashlight, some cloths, a small bottle of surface prep, and a small bottle of Graphene boost. That's nowhere near what should've come in a package over one hundred dollars. My original question got ignored, so I asked how to send it back. I'm not paying that much for some rags and minimal product.
The wheel cleaner is solid, but their customer support team is hands down the worst I've worked with. They've been dismissive and unhelpful with me multiple times. My recent issue involved being unable to access my shopping cart, and instead of actually fixing the problem, one rep kept going on about discount restrictions. He completely ignored what I was telling him about. Months before that, another rep basically accused me of lying about a backorder situation until I provided proof. I run a detailing company and started with Adams, but I'm done dealing with this department. They're supposed to help customers, not make them feel bad. Time to switch brands.
The hose on my Adam's car dryer keeps coming loose every single time I use it. Got the dryer back in summer of twenty twenty-one and started having this issue immediately where the hose disconnects from the unit. This is actually the second hose with the same problem. The connection where the hose attaches really needs a swivel connection built in. Plus, the hose should have a valve at the end so you don't have to walk back to the machine to turn it off. A cord storage area would be nice too. Better design would make this thing great, but right now it's just annoying. Looking at other options like Metro Vac.
Placed an order for over two hundred dollars that was supposed to get here in a week. It never showed up. When I called, they said they'd ship it again because it must have been lost. After another seven days, I contacted them again and they claimed the original order wasn't even sent. Now they're saying it'll go out overnight, but three days have passed and it just arrived. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I won't be ordering from them again. I needed those supplies to detail my new car and ended up waiting almost a month. If Adams actually cared about their customers' vehicles, they'd fix their shipping problems so people can get what they need fast. I grabbed some of their products on Amazon before and they weren't impressive. Fingers crossed the stuff I ordered directly from them at least works right. Adams is focused on profit like any business should be, but customers are where that profit comes from. Lose the customers and you lose the money.
