Got my Airdog X5 about four years back from Amazon. The wire frame inside snapped within the first year and Airdog took care of replacing it no problem. Fast forward to recently and the same part breaks again. I reached out to their support team and they told me to grab a replacement from their site. The listing showed the wire frame at around $95 CAD, but when I got to checkout the total jumped to $123 CAD with zero explanation about what that extra $28 was for. I asked customer service about it and they said shipping was included in that bump to $123. So I tried to actually complete the order and boom, another $83 gets tacked on for shipping. That makes no sense since they already said shipping was part of the $123. Then a different rep messaged me saying I'd get $20 off but never sent me a code or told me how to use it. I took screenshots of the checkout because the way they're displaying prices to customers is really unclear about where all these charges come from. When you're buying essential replacement parts that you have to get, the pricing needs to be straightforward and honest.

I grabbed an AirDog Model X3 and waited around two weeks for it to show up. Opened the box, plugged it in and immediately got hit with the strongest ozone smell ever. Gave them a call and they set me up with a shipping label so I could send it back. I got it back to them next day through UPS and waited for my refund to hit my credit card. Nothing ever posted. Straight up bait and switch situation. Thankfully my credit card company stepped in and helped me out, but even getting that refund took forever, like a couple months. If you're thinking about buying from these guys, be really careful. They don't seem trustworthy in my experience.
