Andalou Naturals Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Andalou Naturals
Andalou Naturals receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting significant fulfillment and customer service problems. Multiple reviewers experienced shipping delays lasting several weeks, missing tracking numbers, and unresponsiveness to emails and phone inquiries. One shopper reported never receiving an order confirmation and suspected fraudulent activity, while another discovered product formula inconsistencies between retail locations and online offerings. A fifth reviewer criticized the practice of including non-vegan items in free gifts without clear disclosure, contradicting the brand's ethical positioning.
The few positive elements mentioned relate to product quality from years past, but current customer experiences center on operational failures rather than product performance. Shoppers consistently highlighted the lack of accessible customer support channels and the company's apparent inability or unwillingness to resolve order issues promptly.

Sorted by: Most recentBe careful when buying their stuff from other retailers. I'd been getting Andalou products at Whole Foods for years and felt good about what was in them. I specifically avoid Sodium Benzoate and was glad some of their products didn't have it. When my local store quit carrying the items I wanted, I had to look online. That's when I realized the exact same Andalou products I'd been buying now showed up with Sodium Benzoate in them, even though the site selling them didn't mention it in the ingredient list. I contacted customer service but still haven't gotten a real response. Here's the thing though: their official website does list Sodium Benzoate for these products. If you're trying to stay away from that ingredient, don't assume it's not there just because a third-party seller doesn't list it. Andalou needs to take more responsibility for how their products are being labeled and sold elsewhere, and they should've actually helped me figure this out instead of just suggesting I ask for my money back.
Placed an order but never got my confirmation number. Tried calling and emailing with no response. This looks like a scam to me. I'm contacting my bank to dispute the charge.
Placed my order on mid-August 2024 and it's now mid-September with still no delivery. This is the second time I've had issues with their shipping timeline being really slow. They do send a confirmation email with tracking info mentioned, but there's no actual tracking number included. Emails go unanswered and there's no phone number to reach them. I won't be ordering from them again.
I've been buying Andalou Naturals for years without problems until summer 2024. I'm writing this mainly to warn others about picking their free shipping option. Choose free shipping and you might wait several weeks for your package to show up. You probably won't even get a tracking number to check on it. There's no phone line to call, just email support, and honestly their replies won't really help. They'll basically tell you they hope it gets there eventually. Do yourself a favor and pay for shipping so you at least get real tracking info. When my order finally arrived sixteen days later, the bottles were warm to the touch and I'm honestly not sure if the products are still safe to use on my face. That was a frustrating experience.
I'm really let down by how this company operates. They claim to be ethical but their actions say otherwise. Yes, they sell some vegan stuff, but here's the problem: they throw in free gifts with orders without telling you that not all the items in the box are actually vegan. I assumed everything was and ended up using a cleanser that wasn't. It felt dishonest and I was upset, but customer service didn't care much. They just sent me a generic message about how great their values are without actually fixing anything. Then there's their promotions. I saw a buy 2 get 1 free email and ordered right when it was running, but the free item never showed up at checkout. When I reached out, they asked me to prove the promotion existed with a screenshot. Seems like they don't even keep track of their own deals. A real customer service person would've checked with their promotions department instead of making me do the legwork. Plus their email system won't let me reply directly, only through their website. That's when I decided to shop elsewhere. I'd rather give my money to vegan companies that actually walk the walk.
