Apex Foot Health Industries Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Apex Foot Health Industries
Apex Foot Health Industries is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 15 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious problems. Reviewers consistently report that shoe soles delaminate and fall apart within six months to a year of normal wear, creating safety hazards. Multiple shoppers describe defects including interior holes, blisters, and non-functional non-skid soles. Beyond product quality, customers cite frustration with customer service that is difficult to reach by phone, unresponsive to email inquiries, and unwilling to honor returns or warranties, particularly once items are slightly outside warranty periods.
Shipping and order fulfillment issues compound customer dissatisfaction. Shoppers report orders that never arrive with no tracking information available, payments processed immediately but no follow-up communication, and support staff who are unreachable or unable to help resolve problems. Some customers describe the company structure as confusing, with multiple entities and unclear lines of responsibility. A small portion of shoppers report positive experiences, but the overwhelming pattern in reviews is disappointment with both product durability and company responsiveness to legitimate complaints.

Sorted by: Most recentAbsolutely horrific customer service and quality control. Like many others have mentioned, these shoe soles tend to fall apart. My dad got his shoes as a gift from his wife who wanted to help with his foot pain. Just over the six month warranty period, the sole started coming apart, but their returns team shut him down without any consideration. It's not like he's been hiking marathons in them; he mostly wears them casually. The fact that the sole is disintegrating on shoes marketed for foot health is embarrassing for the brand. The company clearly doesn't care about fixing their quality issues. I'll be looking for a different orthopedic shoe for him and better manufacturers overall. This review is a warning to anyone thinking about buying Apex shoes. My dad is genuinely upset about the whole situation.
Their return policy claims to be hassle free but it absolutely is not. Returning these shoes has been nothing but frustrating. Can't get anyone on the phone for customer service either. Completely disappointed with the whole experience.
Dropped $250 on their orthopedic shoes and after six months the soles are coming unglued. The interior has holes forming where my pinky toe sits and I keep getting blisters. The supposedly non-skid soles? I'm constantly slipping on the floors at work. The flapping soles that won't stay glued keep tripping me up, so now I have to buy new shoes anyway. This is the most I've ever spent on a single pair of shoes and I feel completely cheated and let down by Apex.
Purchased two pairs using a promotion code on their site. My payment went through immediately but after two weeks, no shoes. When I tried calling their support line, nobody answered. Found another number associated with the charge and learned they're separate companies and can't help. Posted about it on their message board warning them I'd contact my bank, so they shipped the shoes out but then blocked me from posting. The shoes finally arrived but they're not good quality. They want $70 just to return them.
Experienced very poor customer service. Had my shoes for less than a year when the sole started coming apart, which created a tripping hazard. Reached out multiple times by email and phone trying to get help, but after several back-and-forth exchanges, they basically stopped helping. I ended up buying shoe glue and fixing it myself.
Ordered two pairs of sneakers on July 26, 2022. Status switched to shipped on August 4, 2022 but I never received them. Called and left messages, emailed too, nothing back. And here's the weird part: there's absolutely no way to track the shipment. I've never experienced that before. This whole company feels sketchy and I'm pretty convinced I got scammed. Filing a report and disputing the charge with my credit card. Super disappointed. We really needed those sneakers and losing the money right now is terrible. Really let down by Apex.
Ordered shoes on June 14th for my husband to wear to our son's wedding. Called three weeks later to check on them and was promised they'd get back to me. Never heard from them. Terrible customer service. Still no shoes and we're leaving in five days. I really wish I'd read the reviews first because I would've never placed an order. They're not even answering their phone anymore. Never shopping here again.
Terrible experience with customer service. I've been a long-time customer and loved these shoes, but my recent order from mid-May still hasn't arrived. I've sent multiple emails with no response. When I finally got through to someone, they promised to follow up but never did. It's been over a week of voicemail hell. Had to file a complaint with my payment processor about not receiving the merchandise. The shoes themselves are great, but the service is absolutely unacceptable. Won't be ordering again.
Got these expensive shoes for my nursing program. A full month went by and my $100 sneakers were still sitting in their system unprocessed. School is about to start and I still don't have them. Tried emailing multiple times with zero response. Called several times too and either got stuck listening to hold music for half an hour or someone would pick up, say nothing, and hang up. There's no way to cancel an order on their website without talking to someone. I'm out a hundred bucks with no shoes for class and honestly questioning whether this company is even legitimate or just a scam operation.
Awful company with zero customer service. I returned my shoes within the time window but got zero response and no refund. The shoes themselves are uncomfortable, extremely heavy, and clunky. But the real problem is how they handle returns. They require you to return within 30 days or forfeit your refund, so if you're not paying close attention, you send the shoes back and get absolutely nothing but an empty wallet. That's the deal breaker for me.
