I sent complaints about their tactics and bullying but got no response. I was shocked to find out this is happening to so many customers. Over the years I spent quite a bit on their products between upgrades and full purchases. Now I use aTube Catcher instead, which is free, does everything Applian's software did, and even adds a Cast to TV feature. Users can donate if they want to support the developer, but there's no pressure like you get from Applian. This company doesn't deserve even one star.
I downloaded their media splitter tool and ran into serious problems right away. The joining function kept crashing before finishing, which corrupted both my original file and the copy. Getting help from customer support felt like going in circles on their website. I ended up using a free online tool instead to do what they claim their paid software can do, then had to manually fix the results. Their programs used to be much better. I can't recommend this software since the support is nonexistent and all they offer are pages of FAQ documents.
I bought the latest version of Replay Music but couldn't get it to download no matter what I tried. I had used their Replay Music for years and was happy with it before this. Something clearly shifted with how they run things. I gave up trying to make it work.
I've been running different programs from the Applian Suite for more than ten years. Since I'm in Australia, some of their products don't function in my region. Sure, I've hit a few minor bugs along the way, but I'm completely satisfied overall and highly recommend them. They do have customer service staffed by real American people, though they can be tough to reach. And yes, they release updates on a regular basis with automatic improvements to the software.
I've had several programs from Applian's suite running for over ten years now. Not all of their products are available in my area, but overall I'm very satisfied with what I use. Yeah, there are occasional hiccups, but nothing major. One hundred percent happy and would suggest them to others. They do have real customer service with actual people based in America, even though they're tough to get ahold of. Plus they push out regular updates automatically to keep things current.
My credit card got charged by Applian but I never got an order confirmation or license codes. Their help desk won't respond to me. I'm really unhappy with this company. They're telling me they can't find any record of my transaction, yet the money came right out of my account. Please refund what I paid.
