The doorbell is outstanding and went through the reset and setup process without any problems. The camera, however, gave me headaches initially. My wireless network wouldn't connect to it no matter what I did. After some investigation, I realized the fault was mine. I hadn't completed the factory reset properly beforehand. The manual's language was misleading because it mentions one light indicator but then describes another one flashing. The orange light actually appears before the blue one, which threw me off. When I corrected that, it all came together. I'm really happy with these products. At my age of 82, I was able to set both of these up myself with no outside assistance, which speaks volumes about how straightforward they actually are.

My brother had upgraded his home security with an Arlo doorbell and an Essential spotlight camera that he didn't need anymore, so I took them for my apartment. The doorbell is truly excellent and reset cleanly with straightforward setup. The camera gave me trouble initially though. My internet wouldn't recognize it when I tried to pair it. After some troubleshooting, I realized I was the problem. I hadn't reset the camera the right way initially. The instructions' language had confused me because it says to look for a blue light, then mentions that you should see an orange light blink three times. What happens in reality is the orange light appears before the blue. Once I figured this out, everything worked fine. I'm really pleased with both devices. Being 82, I managed to install these on my own without calling anyone, which shows how doable they really are.
