Purchased a queen Avocado mattress secondhand for around $1000, thinking the brand's reputation would protect me from issues. What a mistake that turned out to be. My spouse and I are both under 130 pounds, yet we wake up with terrible back pain every single morning and have been dealing with this for weeks now. The mattress is extremely unstable when either of us moves, jolting the other awake constantly. The real problem is the springs are all inconsistent. My husband's side feels decent, but my side has springs that poke through, areas that sag, and a pronounced ridge running down the middle that pushes me into the soft spots. I've slept fine on simple tatami mats before, so this is unacceptable. The previous owner was lighter and slept primarily on the better side, which is why she never caught the defects. When I contacted customer service asking if something was broken or if this was normal, they first suggested buying a topper. After pushing back, they claimed the warranty only covers the original purchaser. This mattress is a complete waste of money and the support was useless.

I'll keep this short. The mattress weighs way too much, came with a bad smell, and doesn't get any softer as you use it. It basically feels like sleeping on the floor. If you need surgery and think this firm bed will help recovery, think again.

Getting in touch with their customer service team after you've bought something is nearly impossible. The mattress itself is actually pretty good, but once you own it, good luck getting support. The service quality is basically nonexistent.

Bought the Eco Organic Kids mattress and it arrived in late August rolled up tightly like most foam mattresses come shipped. I unrolled it and let it sit for a full week before placing on the bed frame. When I finally set it up, there was a massive buckle running across the top. I tried everything to flatten it out: pressing, laying on it, stretching it. Nothing worked. My kid has had to sleep on this lumpy mattress, and two weeks later the problem is still there. I tried getting a return started, but Avocado says I have to wait thirty days before they'll even consider it. This is clearly a defective item and shouldn't require a waiting period for something that obviously failed. The mattress smells terrible too, and the customer service experience has been equally disappointing.

The marketing claims about this product were completely misleading. The Eco Adjustable Bed Frame was advertised as one hundred percent organic GOTS certified cotton with OEKO-TEX certification and made in India. When it arrived, the actual tag showed it was not organic cotton, not certified, and made in Thailand instead. Avocado has done nothing meaningful to address this false advertising or offer compensation. Their customer service approach is strange too, they only respond by email and constantly push your issue to another department instead of answering your actual questions. I specifically requested a manager call me and that never happened. An assistant manager did email back but ignored everything I asked, just forwarding misleading company articles that don't address the dishonesty at all.

Three and a half years in with my Avocado Queen mattress. Over the last few months I've noticed the area below where my hip sits while sleeping has gotten really soft, causing back pain. I'm six foot two and weigh around one hundred eighty-five pounds, and I rotate the mattress regularly. I measured things to see what was happening: when I place a forty pound kettlebell where my hip normally rests, it sinks three inches below the mattress surface. In the middle between my wife and me, it sinks two inches. There's also a one inch sag across my sleep area when nothing is on it. The mattress basically stopped providing support where I need it. A three year old mattress should still be supportive so I submitted a warranty claim. After spending forty-five minutes moving it off the bed, taking apart the foundation, and doing all their measurements and pictures and forms, they denied it because my sag wasn't at the one point five inch threshold they require.

Absolutely loved this mattress when we first got it three years ago. We kept up with rotating it like they recommend, but here's what happened: one side of the queen developed significant sagging after three years. Even with the warranty claim, Avocado kept asking us to meet specific requirements and made us wait while they investigated. No mattress at this price point should have problems after just three years, especially one with such great reviews. I'd skip this brand entirely and wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a reliable mattress.

Ordered a City bed frame and both headboards warped badly. Got two replacements and they warped the same way. I asked for my money back but only got about ten percent refunded. This was a premium fifteen hundred dollar frame that basically turned into a few warped pieces of wood. Anyone thinking about buying should watch out.
