My main complaint is that after almost nine years of ordering business supplies from them, a lot of what I used to get is now gone from their catalog. Basic stuff like ribbon has disappeared, and since I need ribbon for every bag I use, I'm now having to shop elsewhere. It's a hassle, and I'm looking for a vendor who can handle all my needs in one spot.
I wanted to complete my purchase today to take advantage of the 20% off promotion running through May 31st. When I tried to enter the promo code during checkout, it wouldn't go through. I went back to the main page to refresh and try again, but when I returned to my cart, the entire 20% discount promotion had vanished from the website! The sale was supposed to go until June 1st, and today is May 31st. Really disappointed.
I had items sitting in my shopping cart and got an email saying I'd get 15% off. When I went to complete the purchase, the discount code wasn't available for me to apply. That's misleading advertising.
Quality merchandise. I was hoping to hit $500 to qualify for free shipping, but unfortunately most of the items I wanted were either low stock or completely sold out, so I fell short. Would be great if there was more inventory so I could reach that threshold.
I called in with a problem about the white mini-cube that came in a lavender color. Vera helped me and said she'd send replacements within a week, but she never followed up and the replacement bags never arrived.
Pretty much everything works well here except for one thing - I can't modify a credit card once I've already saved it to my account.
Over the years I've consistently been happy with everything from Bags and Bows. Been shopping here for a long time. One thing that frustrated me was when the apple green gable boxes in the 8 x 5 size weren't in stock, so I had to settle for the black version instead. Would love to see that apple green come back in the future.
My whole experience was smooth and straightforward. I've been buying from them for quite a while, and we keep coming back because the products are well-made, fairly priced, and the service is fantastic. We'd definitely recommend Bags and Bows to anyone!
