If you end up needing to deal with their support team, especially if you're handling things over email, you'll wish you hadn't bought from them. I had to send twenty-two emails back and forth just trying to get them to process a simple refund on a package they confirmed receiving. Nothing about how to finish the refund process seemed to compute with them. Getting the refund took a month, and that only happened because I kept bugging them about it.
Really impressive overshirt with solid construction, quality fabric, and excellent styling. The branding is subtle enough to stay classy and avoid looking overdone. The sizing ran large so I had to exchange my first order. I was disappointed they wouldn't apply my first purchase discount to the replacement, which is why I'm giving four stars instead of five. The exchange and refund went smoothly though.
I purchased a present for my nephew two weeks ago from Belstaff and asked for delivery to my local store's parcel counter. When I tried to pick it up during the window they gave me, the staff said it wasn't there. I attempted to reach someone at Belstaff, but calling is useless because their lines are always busy. I had to use live chat and email instead. They told me the package was out for redelivery. I went back to the pickup location, but again nothing. By the way, they used DPD for shipping. I messaged them once more and got a response that they'd look into it. That was days ago and I haven't heard anything. I'm out three hundred twenty-five dollars, and I had to show up to my nephew's birthday party empty-handed. This is completely unacceptable for a brand that's supposed to be high-end luxury. I've purchased from Belstaff many times over the years, but this situation has finished me as a customer.
I'd give zero stars if that were possible. I started a return on an expensive thousand-dollar coat and still haven't gotten my refund. Customer service just sends you the same boring canned responses that don't help. They say sorry over and over. First my return went missing at their Jersey warehouse location, then suddenly it's supposedly on a pallet but stuck somewhere in transit. Even after it gets back to the UK, they're saying I need to wait another ten days minimum for the refund. They've had my money for way too long and I'm completely out of patience. The whole return experience is a joke with zero transparency, just hollow apologies. I never thought I'd say this about a brand as established as Belstaff but here goes: do not order from them online if there's any chance you might return it. seriously, just don't. My return showed up at their Polish warehouse two weeks back and I still haven't gotten my refund.
The USA office sent me an expensive shirt in completely the wrong size. Their chat support was sorry but couldn't help me because of their procedures. The only way to get a refund is to mail the shirt back, and if I want the right size I have to place a new order. What a hassle. I even asked them to have their CEO reach out, but apparently his or her contact information wasn't accessible.
Avoid shopping on their site at all costs. I requested a refund and was given a return code to use with DHL, but the courier refused to accept it because the waybill information was incomplete. After waiting weeks, they still hadn't resolved the issue.
Getting my refund took a full five weeks. They shipped my return via the slowest method possible and routed it through multiple warehouses. Just receiving it on their end took two weeks, then another three weeks to actually process the refund. I had to follow up with them five separate times, and each response said everything was moving fine and to be patient. That timeline is completely unacceptable in today's world. The actual products are fantastic, but buy them from anywhere else. Direct purchases from this company should be avoided completely. For a luxury brand charging these prices, their return process is embarrassingly bad. Check out all their bad reviews if you don't believe me; they all mention the same return nightmare. Whoever runs their returns department should be replaced. This has gone on way too long and is simply inexcusable.
Absolutely absurd. My order got cancelled twice. I spent two years waiting for one leather jacket. I won't be placing another order with this incompetent organization.
Big thanks to James at Belstaff for helping me out! I got the gift package today and my boyfriend absolutely adored the jacket and sweater. He was thrilled beyond words. I'm so grateful the package arrived so fast. Belstaff really went above and beyond what I expected. The wrapping and presentation were beautiful. I got a jacket that was too small and requested an exchange following their terms, but the exchange took forever. After waiting so long, I asked for a refund instead. According to their own conditions, they should have processed it quickly, but they didn't. I'm still waiting. They blamed it on Covid and their warehouse, claiming they had hours remaining to refund me, but twenty-four hours later nothing showed up. Belstaff really dropped the ball here.
