Bloomscape Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Bloomscape
Bloomscape shoppers are deeply divided. Five-star reviewers praise responsive customer service, with representatives going above and beyond to resolve issues like missing items and order mix-ups, sometimes offering complimentary replacements or upgrades. However, nearly 60 percent of reviews are one or two stars, with recurring complaints about plant quality and condition. Customers report receiving plants significantly smaller than advertised photos, waterlogged containers infested with gnats, plants arriving damaged or dead, and undersized specimens not matching product descriptions. Several reviewers expressed frustration that customer service offers only store credit rather than refunds, and that the high prices combined with quality issues make them unlikely to order again.
Shipping delays and fulfillment problems also appear frequently in negative reviews. Some customers experienced technical glitches causing late shipments, plants not reaching carriers on time, and packages arriving well past intended delivery dates (such as birthday gifts). The stark rating distribution suggests Bloomscape either delivers an exceptional experience or a disappointing one, with little middle ground for shoppers.

Sorted by: Most recentTheir customer service really blew me away! I got sent the wrong bundle but they swiftly shipped out the correct one and let me keep what I received by mistake. The turnaround was super fast and they handled it all professionally. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
Skip this company. Spent thirty-five dollars on a small heart leaf philodendron that arrived in terrible shape. Not what you'd expect from a business that specializes in plants. Wish I'd seen the reviews here first before ordering. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Completely unacceptable. My plant arrived severely damaged with all broken stems. I basically got a pot of small leaves instead of the XL plant I paid for. Not acceptable at all.
Totally unacceptable. Plant showed up damaged with broken stems everywhere. What I ended up with was basically just a pot of small leaves when I paid for an XL. Not okay.
My order is showing as completed online but I never got everything. The Begonia Collection in Taupe that was supposed to arrive for sixty dollars is missing from what I received.
Not sure if it's a system glitch or intentional, but my cart showed $51.97 with a coupon applied when I went to pay through GPay. Once I completed the purchase though, it charged me $153 and had added a plant I never wanted or selected. There's no phone number listed to reach their support team. UPDATE: The next day Bloomscape reached out via email and immediately canceled the order with a full refund. They followed up with questions to understand what went wrong. I ended up ordering elsewhere so I didn't reorder with them, but I have to say their quick response and fix was really solid.
Won't ever shop here again. They can't give you a delivery timeframe. Your plants take way more than five days to show up. There's no phone line to talk to anyone. I couldn't track my order and never got the tracking email they said I'd receive. Dealing with this company was a nightmare from start to finish. Just bad.
My experience matches what I've read in other negative reviews here. Bought a plant in July that arrived looking slightly damaged, or so I thought at first. Turns out it had pest damage and gradually declined. I got in touch with customer service but it took forever to hear back. Eventually they said they'd send a replacement, but nothing came and no communication followed. Weeks passed before I reached out again and was told the supplier wasn't providing quality stock and I wouldn't get a replacement. Nobody tried to contact me proactively about any of this, I just had to wait and wait. Then they offered another pet safe option with a small discount even though everything else costs more. I picked one and was told it couldn't ship to California where I live. I was so frustrated by then I just asked for my money back. Still waiting to see if that actually happens. I also purchased a wooden plant stand to go with the diseased plant I got, and now I'm wondering if they'll even accept a return on that item.
Ordered a big Fiddle Leaf fig and within days it started dropping leaves and looking like it might not make it. I reached out to Bloomscape support and they really took care of me. They sent really helpful guidance on how to nurse the plant back to health and gave me a coupon code for the inconvenience. Everything about their response was thoughtful and generous, and I'm excited to place another order soon!
Just got a large Fiddle Leaf fig from Bloomscape and unfortunately it started losing leaves pretty quickly and seemed to be dying off. I contacted their customer service team and they really stepped up. Not only did they provide detailed care instructions to help save the plant, but they also threw in a discount code for the trouble. The whole experience felt genuine and caring, and I'm definitely ready to buy more plants from them in the future!
